Heel Cole had it's great moments and moments where I needed the mute button. His cheerleading role for The Miz was absolutely hilarious and I loved every minute of it. Nothing beats Cole jumping and down screaming Miz. Then the bad stuff happens when he went on rants about his match with Lawler instead of paying attention to actual talent. I also hated his thing with JR that happened at various moments.

I hope they keep him edgy still and hopefully he still rips on Teddy Long and Zach Ryder just to still stay edgy because generic Cole before he turned heel was awful.

This is terrible.

He was the best character the WWE had in years, and they've whitewashed him into another generic announcer like Josh Matthews.

Horrible, horrible decision.

Pretty sure you just liked him because his on-air opinions of Daniel Bryan matches your real ones.

Heel Cole definitely did have his moments, like the whole Gong bit on NXT, but for the most part it was horrible, especially last year with the whole feud with King and JR. Cole's been great the past week or two.

Over the top heel Cole was only good for when he was involved in angles and segments, and getting The Miz over. Otherwise it just gets really annoying regularly having to listen to him yell over the top of everyone.

Still, any of this is preferabe to plain, babyface Cole. I hope he never returns, Josh Matthews does that shit better.

Thats just what I was thinking lol.

Think WWE need to find a middle ground between the dull Michael Cole and the heel character he has been playing the last couple of years almost. He can be a babyface, just more of an smart one, with passion.

I'm thinking he can be basically full neutral, not babyface or heel, like when someone cheats he can say "You gotta' do what you can to win" instead of "THAT'S WRONG!" Also, he can continue to make fun of Booker, that's entertaining.

Does this mean we won't be getting anymore "World Exclusives" from him?

Well one thing I liked was heel Michael Cole helped Miz and Daniel Bryan get over so this run had it's place. At times I found him pretty funny but he was no Bobby Heenan. I think anybody who was forced fed some of his reactions could have got the same response though.

There were times where I found it funny, well specifically anytime he messed with Booker T or Josh Matthews, but other than that it got really tiresome to hear him go on his tirades.

I'm okay with this move.

Trouble is he went back to playing heel on Smackdown, listen to his support for the likes of Del Rio and Rhodes.

He doesn't have to go completely face as long as it's not an over the top heel.

If i'm being honest, i've really noticed Cole for a while now so that in itself is a good thing. He can support the heels all he wants imo I just don't want him to do the shit again of where he needlessly buried face after face.

I've never had a problem with his Smackdown commentary, thought it was so much better than the Raw stuff, so he really doesn't need to change anything there. He just needs to keep being like he was at Extreme Rules and the last Raw and I'll be happy.

I actually hope that the next step is to remove him from the Smackdown announce booth. There is no reason to use him on both shows and it hampers the Smackdown announcers development by having Cole take lead on that show.

I'm actually okay with him on both shows. I'd rather them get rid of King entirely and have one announce team for both shows because King hasn't really been good since 2000, and he's gotten really bad as of late. I'd like Regal to be an announcer on one of the main shows but if not, Josh, Cole, and Booker are a pretty good team to tell you the truth.

I like the idea of seperate teams for each show, gives each show a unique sound and most importantly gives two more guys opportunities to work as announcers. WWE need to ensure that they have back-up announcers ready in case one of their main guys leaves, is fired or something else happens to them. I agree that King is getting close to his useby date and I wouldn't mind Regal taking his spot with Cole. Booker and Matthews can remain on Smackdown together without Cole babysitting them.

I'd like that. Josh and Regal already make a good team on NXT, so my ideal teams would probably be something like this:

Raw
Cole and Booker

Smackdown
Josh and Regal

NXT/Superstars
Stanford and Striker
