What I picked up is neither is a standard doctor/bodyguard so either could easily faking.

I'm leaning on Brutus because I can't say I've seen the lightning rod where you only reflect one player's targets to you in use here before.

Welp Evans death just blew up my claim, was gonna point out my PM mentions SPRK but it's not an actual alignment too...sheeeit

I'm Anthony Prester, Nears bodyguard. Task Force aligned. Not too sure how Evans died tbh! Either Death Note or some other strongman. I was supposed to die in his place but I'm guessing that doesn't account for death note kills. Scum must have a second death note or he was killed by someone else's death note.

Not looking good for me right now that's for sure!

I don’t really mind claiming so no biggie, I’m Matsuda, decoy, I can target a player and if they are Task Force aligned then any non Task Force roles that would've targeted them target me instead.

So ummm based on theme knowledge, CP and Brutus' claims make sense to me. They're both pretty important characters to the story.

CP is Near's most trusted bodyguard and if that really is his character, this is makes more sense.

I've read/seen a lot of death note but never finished it. got a ways into the stuff with NEAR

Same with Brutus, he has a pretty important character and he was pretty self-sacrificial a few times during the anime so decoy makes sense in a way.
