Like if you never seen the anime and watched it it wasnt terrible but they butchered the whole thing plus Wolfe is a terrible casting choice for him but L & Ryuk casting was great

Once he gets the DN yes but you got to remember in the start he was trying to stay noble I think if the police never get on his tail he would of stayed that way. That said no one man should have all that power. (Kayne voice)

giving scum a fake that seems like a scum character seems more likely to punish scum. which isn't what punishing setup spec is supposed to do lol

I think there's a difference between setup spec and character claim spec. Since he also explicitly says this:
"The source material is something of a factor. If you aren't familiar, there is a wealth of information on the interwebs."

So I think there is reason to say why would scum claim this character. It's worthy of discussion.

So I think there is reason to say why would scum claim this character. It's worthy of discussion.

Eh, we'll probably find out what this means as the game goes on but if I had to guess this has to do with some funky mechanics like Odo did in Norse Mythology. Not so much characters and fakes given, which Odo constantly says not to hunt off of.

Yeah, Odo does like to put new mechanics into the game. But that last point I think adds credence. What better way to punish spec than give town a character that sounds scummy?

I also hate games being gamed over characters so I quite often also put villains in town roles if they’re not aligned with the main scum faction.

So I see it both ways.

In your opinion, know he hates spec, what do you think we should so with someone claiming this character that’s half and half with the scum alignment?

On play this makes sense so I’m not against keeping our votes here if we feel this is likely.

Well I don't see Banez saying fuck it and claiming his actual character I'm pretty sure it was Odo that said once that Banez likes getting pseudo-confirmed early in the thread and just kinda coasting as scum like when he motivated Jeff with those daykills way back when. I don't see how this claim does anything of the sort for him lol The thing is though, Banez has this "coward scum" meta and did duck right after claiming

I think I'm inclined to believe it though, claim is kinda out there to fake and I think Banez would go for something safer myself.
