As someone trying to lynch Brutus, I can tell you the direction seems focused on CP.

there are easy arguments to be made to justify sussing brutus

like him ducking for instance

well I got some work to do but so far liking barry, smark, ace, and chris as town

barry - first to try to make stuff happen when the game was fluffy/jokey, seems like he's not doing his usual maintenance scum thing

smark - activity meta + interactions + frustrations feel genuine

ace - just making good points and thinking things through, when I was scum with him he settled into a lane early on

chris - having original thoughts which I agree with, usually means he's town, see my (correct) scum read on him last game

So CP did in fact claim before Gambit.

Why would I have claimed before him? I've had no votes and no one was sussing me. He only claimed the role name after I pressed him for it. Like he didn't know what to call the role because he was worried about being countered! Why the fuck would I have claimed as scum here? What sense would that make? If I just wanted to get CP lynched I could pushed that without even claiming.

If we think it is multi-scum, maybe CP is right and Brutus is scum but so is he? I don't think they are aligned for a second though so we can rule that out. However Brutus either has that role or someone made that fake for him (tbf as CP said)

I get you were pressing him, and I'm not saying you should have claimed before him.

I'm just saying my biggest problem with CP is I thought he claimed after you did.
