see, WWE must've assumed something like this was going to happen, which makes the way they let him go look surprisingly generous. They didn't add anything to his contract, they didn't bury his ass or excluded him off the cards entirely before leaving, but they gave him an actual send off for not re-signing with them.
I don't know, I just assumed he was taking a break from wrestling all together and would return to WWE eventually, which would explain the way he went out, but now I'm just wondering why they let him off the hook like that.
Imagine if this is their way of repackaging him and he'll show up on NXT in a couple of weeks
