[DDT]Wrestle Peter Pan is happening in just under 24 hours - Here's a quick preview.

DDT's big summer show is right around the corner and this time it's happening outdoor at the Fujitsu Staduim Kawasaki
it's a stadium that was built over the legendary Kawasaki Stadium known for the FMW big show that use to happen there. It's the first time DDT runs this venue and as far as I know the first time a wrestling event is happening there since it's been rebuilt.
This show will give us 8 matches including 3 title matches, an pre-show match, an under match and 2 rings !
Guest for the show incluede Voice actress Sumire Uesaka that will be doing commentary as well as Kenta Kobashi as special observer for the main event.

Let's go with the card :

• Under match : Yukio Naya & Keigo Nakamura vs Ideki Okatani & Yuya Koroku : As of right now the newest DDT member, Yuya Koroku has been fairly impressive since his debut he has a good grasp of fundamental and has everything to have a bright future. His teammate will be Ideki Okatani who is a bit more experienced but has already shown a lot, he has impressed Akiyama enough to be invited in his faction, Junretsu, and has already defeated several wrestlers who are senior to him. One of these wrestlers is Keigo Nakamura the young high flyer recently came back from an injury and since then has been able to show that he has gotten better to and should be a part of DDT's future. The last wrestler in this match is Yukio Naya that you often find in variety matches or matches that include guests because of his famous family (he is the grandson of one of the greatest Sumo ever Taihō Kōki) but he is the most experienced wrestler in this match and also the most physically imposing.
• Preshow match : Electric Current Explosion 8-Man Tag Death Match: Atsushi Onita, Sanshiro Takagi, Akito & Maki Itoh vs Kuro-chan, Super Sasadango Machine, Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hikari Noa : The rivalry between former FMW icon Atsushi Onita and Comedian Kuro-chan (known for licking women's knees) has been going on for sometimes, they already faced each other in a explosive bat deathmatch last year and Kuro-chan ended up beating Onita and even stole his jacket ! You can imagine how mad Onita is and after a lot of running away from Kuro-chan he gets to have his revenge. Onita will have President Sanshiro Takagi on his side who is always up for crazy shit aswell as vice president Akito. The final member of his team is the recent Tokyo princess cup winner Maki Itoh who has already teamed with Onita in an explosive bat match and is not afraid of it. For his part Kuro-chan will be teaming with mad creative genius Super Sansadango Machine, former FMW wrestler Tetsuhiro Kuroda and the deathmatch idol and International princess champion Hikari Noa who has several times expressed the desire to run over or explose president Takagi and finally gets her opportunity right now.
• Match 1 :HARASHIMA, Naomi Yoshimura, Yusuke Okada, Raimu Imai & El Unicorn vs Yuji Okabayashi, TAMURA, Mizuki Watase, Yuki Iino & Ilusion : There is a lot going on in this match ! President Takagi has recently announced that DDT opened the "DDT teenage project" to will aim to have teenagers train to become wrestlers while respecting their private life as well as their school schedule. Two of those wrestlers will make their deebut at Wrestle Peter Pan, Illusion (18 yo) and El Unicorn (13yo, you might recognise him if you watched DDT around 2018/2019). They won't be the only teanage wrestlers in this match because young Heat-up wrestler Raimu Imai will be teaming with El Illusion and facing his teacher TAMURA. This match also features the (really one sided) rivalry between Yuki Iino and Naomi Yoshimura, Iino being mad that Yoshimura was invited in the King of DDT tournament just after returning from injury while he was not. Mizuki Watase will also be looking to face up with Yusuke Okada, indeed Watase had issues with Okada joining DDT and being close to Akiyama, those 2 were supposed to have a single match before Watase injured himself for half a year. The final members in this match are HARASHIMA and Yuji Okabayashi, the former tag champs will be on opposite side of the ring this time but I'm sure this won't ruined their friendship nor their good mood !
• Match 2 : Double ring, double single match : Toru Owashi vs Antonio Honda / Danshoku Dieno vs Kazuki Hirata : So initialy the Electric Current Explosion deathmatch was supposed to happen in a separate ring than the other matches to accomode for the setup and probably the cleaning afterward. However Onita refused and prefered to have the match in the preshow so DDT found themselves with 2 rings. What better idea than to unleach the full madness of DDT then. Danshoku Dieno and Kazuki Hirata as well as Toru Owashi and Antonio Honda decided that they had issues to resolved and wanted to have single matches to resolve things, however DDT management, given the restrictions imposed by the current pandemic, could only give them one spot on the card and there we are. Keep in mind that Dieno is the current Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion so expect a lot of crazy shit.
• Match 3 - Hardcore tag match : Chris Brookes & Jun Kasai vs Shunma Katsumata : Speaking of crazy shit, just look at this match, Jun Kasai is back in DDT ! He will face the 37 Kamina duo of Shunma Katsumata (one half of the tag champs) and MAO. This duo are known for being mad men, Shunma runs with the Extreme belt has well as his BJW matches show that hardcore matches are his specialty and MAO's desire to him off high places and running over Takagi with a van demonstrate that he will be just fine. Chris Brookes will be Kasai teammate he has shown several times that he is not afraid to bleed (or cause his opponents to bleed) to win a match and here he gets to face his favorite victim in Shunma.
• Match 4 - KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles: Tetsuya Endo, Soma Takao & Yuji Hino (c) Vs Kazusada Higuchi, Yukio Sakaguchi & Saki Akai. Now we get to the title matches. Eruption became an unstoppable forced when they formed and quicly captured the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Titles last year and went on a very good run with the belts and now they are looking to get them back. Saki Akai especialy has been the real force behind this challenge and wants to prove that eruption are still the top faction in DDT by beating Damnation. In the lead up to the match she has taken issues to Yuji Hino reluctance to fight her and he even went as far as telling her she doesn't belong in a ring which enraged her. This match is also an opportunity to see Kazusada Higuchi and Tetsuya Endo going at eachother which is always a treat and in the recent weeks Yukio Sakaguchi and Soma Takao have gone at each other aswell. Overall the amount of talent in this match astounding and the expectations are high.
• Semi main - DDT Universal Title: Yuki Ueno (c) Vs Daisuke Sasaki : Yuki Ueno has really been on fire in the last year, he had a really sucessful tag title run with Yoshimura and as soon as they lost the belt he managed to pick up his first single title with the Universal title and since then he has defended the belt against a lot of different wrestlers and he is proving that he is the future of DDT. However lately he found himself in a bit of struggle against Daisuke Sasaki, Sasaki first eliminated Ueno in the King of DDT tournament (via low blow) and then beat him again in an tag match where he stole Ueno's belt and since then he keeps messing with him going as far as opening him up last weekend. Ueno is now very frustrated with both Sasali for stealing his belt and messing with him and DDT for allowing him to do what he wants. In this match he will be looking to defend his title and get his physical belt back but is he strong enough to take on Damnation's Charisma ?
• Main event - KO-D Openweight Title : Jun Akiyama (c) Vs Konosuke Takeshita. Here's the big match. Akiyama has been in DDT for just over a year now and he won the belt from Endo 6 months ago and since then he has been extremely dominant with his defenses beating convincingly Higuchi, Dieno and HARASHIMA. Facing him will be the King DDT winner and one half of the tag champs, Konosuke Takeshita. Those two already faced each others in single competition twice last year, at Ultimate Party and in the final of the D-Oh Grand Prix and both time Akiyama came up on top. Those two losses kinda led Take to think he had to make changes to go back at the top. His long time faction All Out disbanded and commited himself fully to the 37 Kamina, went for a small excursion in AEW and found success again by winning the KO-D Tag championships with Shunma and by winning the King of DDT tournament by wrestling his own way. Akiyama on the other hand thinks that while everybody is allowed to wrestle however they want, the right way to wrestle is Baba's way, the King's Road and that's why he will win this match and stay at the top. Takeshita will of course try to prove him wrong and get back the belt for DDT. Kenta Kobashi will be special observer so don't be suprised to hear his theme before the main event.

So here's the card, the show will begin at 5pm JST, so 9am GMT and I think 4am EST.

There will be two rings, one of which was used for the explosion deathmatch. Antonio Honda versus Toru Owashi and Danshoku Dieno versus Kazuki Hirata happened simultaneously with one match in each ring.

Immediate rematches of simultaneous singles matches were issued but to take place in the same ring, however both ended in a no contest because the referees were arguing. It segued into a six-man tag team match involving the referees (Daisuke Kiso and Yukinori Matsui).

Soma Takao, Tetsuya Endo and Yuji Hino made their third successful defense of the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championships against Kazusada Higuchi, Saki Akai and Yukio Sakaguchi.

Daisuke Sasaki defeated Yuki Ueno to win the DDT Universal Championship.

Konosuke Takeshita defeated Jun Akiyama to win the KO-D Openweight Championship in the main event. Chris Brookes came out afterwards to challenge Takeshita for the title.

The bout will officially take place at DDT’s show on September 26 in Korakuen Hall.

Sanshiro Takagi announced DDT will hold its first ever show in Yoyogi National Gymnasium at the end of today’s show.

DDT Pro-Wrestling has announced Kikutaro will face Kuishinbo Kamen at its show on October 17 in Osaka.

The show will be produced by referee Yukinori Matsui. Other stars confirmed to appear include Billy Ken Kid, Daisuke Sekimoto, HUB, Inaba no Buffalo, Kazuaki Mihara, Kengo Takai, Magnitude Kishiwada, Shigehiro Irie, Trans-Am Hiroshi, Tsubasa and Yasu Urano.
