Dave Meltzer: The Former Bray Wyatt Expected to Sign with AEW

I wasn't a big fan of The Fiend, but I'd be happy to see Wyatt get a new shot somewhere different. He's a very good actor, if not one of the best ones in wrestling. All his character work on TV was superb. I'd be down for him to go back to the roots of his character, cult leader Wyatt was my favourite.

Good promos and simple ass kickery has always been a very effective and successful gimmick I agree

The worst was when they used red lights in the matches and you couldn't see what was going on properly. I definitely am here for a more stripped down bruiser type Bray. That is certainly the way to go.

Oh I saw parts of the travesty Seth Rollins match at least lol or worms at wm. In the words of punk, they just kept standing on their own dicks and over complicated everything

With Punk, Wyatt, and the main event core they already have, I think AEW are truly cementing themselves as solid mainstream alternative to the WWE far more than any promotion ever had in the last decade or so. If they continue on this path I see nothing but success in the near future for them

On the Bryan and Vinny Show that is live right now on Twitch, Bryan Alvarez just said that after Dave Meltzer said on WOR that Bray Wyatt was "most likely happening" Alvarez got texts from "people that should know if he was coming in" in AEW confused that Dave said that Wyatt was joining.

Alvarez then says that Bryan Danielson is definitely coming into AEW, but the possibility of Wyatt joining too is much less than 99.99%, and that Alvarez's gut feeling is that he actually won't join.
