The former Bray Wyatt is expected to join All Elite Wrestling.
On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that while it is not one hundred percent, Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) is expected to join the company.
“It’s most likely happening,” Meltzer said. “It’s at the same stage as Aleister Black long before it happened. I don’t think there’s pen to paper or anything like that but the expectation is pretty strong, put it that way.”
Wyatt was released from WWE on July 31 after being off television since the Raw following WrestleMania. It was said at the time that budget cuts were the reason for his release. He had been off television due to a medical issue, but was set to return to the company at any time.
Since his release from WWE, Wyatt has been cryptic on social media. On August 9, he wrote “You can't kill it”. On August 20, he wrote “Rock Stars come and go. Musicians play until they die”, attributing the quote to Eddie Van Halen.
