I didn't read the article (yet...) but yeah, while he is a good talent and I consider myself at least a moderate fan of his, I find it hard to disagree with him being overrated. Outside of being a great wrestler and chanting a three letter word all the time, I find little to nothing captivating or interesting about his personality that makes me want to see him be involved in all the big time feuds (since some people honestly believe he is still capable of replacing John Cena as the face of the company and that's exactly what the face .)
He plays the underdog role well and he's easy to feel sympathetic for, but that alone isn't enough to make me want to see him be made into THE GUY in the long run. I will say that he deserves to win the world title eventually, deserves to be the guy to wrap up this entire Authority angle by being the one to give Triple H his comeuppance, but he's never gonna be the #1 guy they rely on to sell tickets and whatnot.
Btw, earlier today I read that Meltzer's been mentioning on his radio show about how Bryan's house show and merchandise numbers might paint a pretty decent picture of why Vince isn't pushing him as a top guy. Just something to think about (from the sound of it, his numbers probably aren't all that impressive...)
