I believe they realized they made a huge mistake and aborted the storyline as soon as they could. It was too early yes, but any later may have potentially doomed him for his predicted Royal Rumble win and Wrestlemania feud.

It sucks though because it could've turned into a great angle, but they didn't wanna risk it. It would've actually been cool to have Daniel Bryan win the Rumble as a member of The Wyatt Family, only to turn on them mid-way to Wrestlemania.

I actually agree with your post about 100%. Everything I feel about the quick DB face turn is well said right here ^^.....DB is too popular and having him turn heel isn't actually the best decision for business. They abandoned ship.

I'm fairly certain this story line was aborted early, but for the sake of argument, they did seem to have issues the first week together as well.
