Yeah, this list is very kayfabe based but also factors in performance to some degree. If AJ Styles doesn't top the list neext year after his 2014 I will be incredibly shocked.
It's June to June right? This is from June 2013-May 31, 2014, correct?

Styles could very likely be #2 for this list. I haven't followed Styles in the past two months but has he really set the wrestling world on fire from June 1 2014-September 25 that he is already a lock for #1 with the majority of the period still remaining?

Styles has had arguably the best year of his career this year. Since leaving TNA he has been a man on fire. Won the New Japan title in his first match with the company, has had a string of great-excellent matches. His performance in New Japan's G1 Climax tournament this summer alone places him in the top imo because he was on fire that entire tour. Part of the hottest stable in wrestling right now and so forth. He has a good head start to be the number 1 on next years list. And yeah I see him in the upper parts of this one as well.

Again doe, most of what you just mentioned happened before June so it will be factored into this year's list, not next years. Styles will be #2 on this list I would bet.

WWE is the #1 wrestling promotion in the world, so by default that gives guys like Bryan the edge over non-WWE guys like Styles, I imagine.

Bryan, Lesnar, Styles, Lashley, Cena in some order for the top 5? Or will there be more NJPW guys in there?

I liked him for like 40 minutes during WrestleMania, and that was only because I needed something to get my attention off the Streak ending and the horrid Diva's botchfest. But I see why they listed him as #1.
