You're actually hilarious-my feelings might cloud my judgement. I appreciate that he is a great talent and him being injured so badly is a real shame but they shouldn't rush him back. That pretty much sums it up for me.
If anybody is letting their feelings about DB cloud their judgement, it might be you.

So yeah, difference of opinion and whatever.
Mhhhmmmm well my feelings tell me thumb you in the eye flair style.

That makes two of us. :bodallas:

lmao

But anyways, let's get the thread back on topic.

If WWE's so hesitant of clearing DB now because they care so much, is there a possibility of him returning at the Rumble and actually winning it this time?
I'd like to think so.

But if WWE decides not to clear DB at all, then I doubt he'll stop wrestling. I can see him going to NJPW or maybe back to ROH.

Well, as I believe has been pointed out, people in sports at the moment are extremely wary of messing with concussion injuries.

What we're hearing from Daniel Bryan is that a doctor in Phoenix who worked at an unspecified Super Bowl has cleared him to wrestle. However, I've done quite a few searches and haven't been able to find the name of the doctor he is referring to. So we really don't know much from that viewpoint.

You would think if Daniel was that adamant that he was okay, he would be putting forth more than just one doctor's opinion. It could just be that his doctor isn't as cautious as WWE's doctors are or he could have different criteria for what he considers 100%. The man was a doctor on the Super Bowl, so he knows football, but he may not have as much knowledge about professional wrestling as WWE's doctors do.

Personally, I don't think Daniel Bryan is trying to sneak back in or anything. But it just seems a bit odd to me that he is saying that a single unnamed doctor who he hasn't tied together with any knowledge of professional wrestling would be all WWE's doctors needed to agree to clear him.

Despite the fact that they might not see Daniel Bryan as their head guy or want him as their head guy, I find it hard to believe (especially with the weak Raw episodes of the past months) that they wouldn't want to utilize Bryan as quickly as possible. So, I tend to think WWE is likely doing what they honestly think is best.

WWE... Such assholes. If this was triple, h, cena, Shawn michaels, etc... WWE would prob clear them early.

DB gets the short of the stick because WWE thinks he's "not healthy enough" or "injury prone"...... Triple has had 2 major time consuming injuries and you can bet your ass that were in a hurry to put him back in main events.
He came back with an injury and got injured again within 4 months. Not only that, it was a serious injury. If it takes a little longer just so Bryan can be fully recovered, so be it. It's not them being "assholes", it's them protecting their talent with career/life ending injuries.

If this was Cena would it be the same?

Plus Bryan's been cleared by a doctor, just not WWE docs.

Is it worth giving Bryan the rumble? They gave him a huge wrestlemania moment and he got hurt, they gave him the IC title and he got hurt. I love DB but if he's just going to get injured as often as this can you risk him in a major story?

To play Devil's advocate. Austin worked from 97-99 with a broken neck and spent most of that time as champion

Think there's quite a difference in the circumstances, every single time Cena has came back early he took a ton of precautions to not re-aggravate the problem. When Bryan came back he had no regard for his health, actively doing spots and taking bumps that involved his neck. WWE needs to make sure he has his priorities right, and they also need to find a spot for him. They can't just toss him back the IC title scene and let him regain the title from Ryback.

However, not being a fan of his; I really wouldn't care if he doesn't come back for another year or so.
