The third episode of WWE reality series Total Bellas focused on Daniel Bryan's struggle to adapt to life after wrestling following his forced early retirement due to head injuries - and while Bryan has been open about how painful it is to not be able to wrestle, his wife Brie Bella revealed that he has been dealing with depression for the last decade.

Really our whole relationship I’ve been used to his depression,” Brie Bella said, “but definitely in the last two years I know ‘OK, it comes, it hits hard, but it only lasts for two days.

I'm kind of a big deal
Stuff like this sucks to hear, but it doesn't surprise me. The dude loves wrestling, so I cannot imagine how hard it must be for him to deal with not being able to wrestle anymore.

Yeah I guess he has had issues with depression but they were made worse when he had to quit.

Awful to hear something like this. However, the silver lining is the fact that someone as big and popular as Daniel Bryan is talking about depression which is necessary in changing the stigma towards it.

Dang, I just saw that video for the word "manatee" but when I saw how Daniel is dealing with mental health problems, I instantly felt bad. I have family members who have battled with depression, I myself had periods of time where I dealt with it and to this day I occasionaly get hit with it. So hopefully Daniel can stay healthy. He is a great person in and out of the ring, he has my support.

I have clinically diagnosed depression which I'm currently
medicated for. It really is a horrible condition to deal with...
but clearly Daniel has the support he needs to help him
through it

100% Correct.

Ah that really sucks. I know some people that had to deal with it and I've seen them struggle. Having something you love taken away can't be easy for anyone, let alone when you have this to fight against.
