Shawn Daivari returned to WWE, working a dark match against Ted DiBiase at the Smackdown taping in Orlando, FL tonight.

Daivari, came out wearing his turban and cut a promo saying he wore it to prove that no matter where he goes he is an international superstar and will prove tonight why he is the best in the world.
DiBiase worked the match as a babyface, defeating Daivari.

I remember reading about a month ago that it was reported Daivari was returning to TNA. Admittedly the report about him going to TNA wasn't one of the main trustworthy websites so I trust this report much more than the other one.

Daivari I thought did a good job as a manager but I never saw much in him as a wrestler. I am shocked that he seems to be using a similar gimmick to the one he had when he was originally in WWE.

Interesting to note that Ted DiBiase worked the match as a face.

What do you think of Daivari? Do you want to see him back in WWE?

I would mark the fuck out if Daivari came out speaking farci and introduces or re-introduces Muhamed Hassan.

But I guess that would be far fetched.

He worked a dark match prior to Smackdown, that kind of sets off an alert in my head.

Will we see some sort of a stable now of him, Khali, and the new guy that was on Smackdown last week?

But he isn't Indian he's Egyptian. That would be wrong on so many levels.

Also would make WWE look like bigots to put random brown guys in a stable soley on their skin pigmentation. Because Hindus and Muslims are totally ideologies.

Not really sure how that would be any different considering they could ask him to be anything they wanted him to be.

Case in point Sabu, who is just your typical guy from Michigan.

I agree Deezy, I would love a return of Hassan but it will never happen. It would be too controversial with all the craziness in the Middle East if they brought back Hassan and ran that angle. Maybe in the attitude era, but PG no way.

Pretty sure that the guy who plays Hassan has nothing to do with wrestling these days which is a shame since he was a good worker it was just the gimmick that was pushed too far.

If Daivari returns I see it as a singles wrestler rather than joining that Khali, Jinder Mahal tag team.

Sabu is legit Indian though, and he came up with his own gimmick.

Asking a Muslim to play an Indian is like asking Chavo to be Kerwin White again.

Lol at the Kerwin White comment, but literally Davari is great in ring talent. I remember back in TNA when WWE kind of just wasted him and left him there kind of to dry. So really Davari could be useful if used properly.
