Current incarnation of NJPW STRONG coming to an end, speculation about ROH crossover coming

this actually kind of sucks major balls. basically means the end of weekly strong because its just gonna be the same ppvs that aired live but for free over 4 weeks. huge bummer

yeah...maybe theyll do monthly ppvs but still lol, it feels a bit like they want us to pay for more ppvs which sucks because why do i have world then

It looks like they're still going to be doing similar tapings as before in between what would have been PPVs like Battle in the Valley, now those tapings can just be purchased and watched live as PPVs instead too. So yeah technically more PPVs but no real change to the schedule they had, except I guess no day after PPV tapings for Strong

It’s actually what ECW used to do. Cut up their supercard house shows and turn them into episodes of Hardcore TV.

No it's still on World, it just won't be original content anymore since what will air as Strong will be matches from shows airing on Fite PPV

The Japanese language versions might still be on World, they were in the past, English was just delayed

Yeah the shows with other companies make sense to me bc I feel like I'm paying since those companies aren't on World but I've never liked having to pay for US shows in English on Fite when I have World

That's just what they're calling the weekly shows now, PPVs are "Strong Live"

They're branding the English PPVs as Strong shows where they weren't before as part of the change

Thankfully, World gives us like 100 tour shows which are basically PPV and their big supercards all included. It’s just the American PPV right that’s separated? I wish it was included though.

This is becoming the standard again, unfortunately. Impact does this with their streaming service and 4 big PPV events. At least they give us plus specials.

I haven't been watching the non-tournament tour shows for awhile tbh so Strong was a lot of my reason for World lol I'll probably still keep it bc there will at least be one tour finale show I wanna see a month but I feel like I'm losing value here. Will make it up once the tournaments get going since I gotta watch all of them but gonna be a few months where I'm light on content personally
