There is no real way to class since the draft as an era since it is a few weeks old.

But i would say we were in the EVOLUTION ERA, which began around the time of Evolution been formed which was early 2003. The era can be summed up well because since then WWE has produced new stars(Cena,Batista, Orton and more) it has also seen the evolution of WWE(New Brands, catering for kids and more that i cant think of right now)

I think the Evolution Era is fitting.

They are building a lot of new stars to take over. Starting with Cena, Orton, Batista and Edge. Now we have CM Punk to add to that list. John Morrison will probably be the next in line for a huge push. They are definitely in rebuilding mode and they have been since about 2003.

It probley started somewhere around when Angle and Christian left, Guerrero/Benoit died and Lesnar went to UFC (which he sucks at). This is just my guess.

I don't know if you call this a era but something new started once TNA got its two hour deal with Spike.

I agree with the new era starting in 2003, with the Rock, Hogan, Austin and the WCW guys leaving or not making a big splash. Since then, we've seen some steady Main Eventers until now with HHH, HBK, and Undertaker, who are like the backbone of the WWE. And there's been a gradual development of new guys yearly, starting in 2004 with Orton.
