Yeah, she was really finding her niche as a great heel diva, but like most divas, she easily replaceable for the sheer reason that she was still hardly used as champion. I was enjoying her though.

She will be missed, which is pretty odd. I’m not crazy about her, but if you think Katilyn is an upgrade then you must have really some issues.

She's leaving to punch out a couple of kids. Can't blame her, the only successful Diva Search winner.

Michelle McCool?
Candice Michelle?
Wasn't Leyla a Diva Search winner too?

Bearing in mind they only book the Diva's division ad-hoc and with one girl in mind at a time.... Who cares? Lost far better diva's in the last few years and it hasn't made a notable difference to the division overall.

Mccool and Layla can be considered fairly successful, Michelle was a bit of a flop through which is why she is now longer there.

Yes they have lost better women, but Eve was starting to look like the one to fill the Mccool void as the old fashioned heel, getting heat and making the babyfaces look more interesting.

Candice was a flop, she started to get decent but then kept injuring herself. Layla, LOL with that - she's abysmal and her only relevance is being carried by McCool as a heel.

re: McCool - my post said WINNER. McCool was a runner up to Hemme.

I think that Christy Hemme has become pretty successful in wrestling albeit only part of it was in WWE. She has managed to forge out a solid career not just in the ring but as an announcer and interviewer as well. She has been working for the main companies for close to a decade now so that is a success in my book, especially since her background wasn't wrestling.

Only thing successful about Christy Hemme is the way she some how conned TNA into paying her 750k a year.

Think that is harsh she always seems pretty committed to curse and is normally decent on the mic and has a good look. I just think TNA have given her one bad gig after the other and who knows why WWE fired her.

Mccool and Layla can be considered fairly successful, Michelle was a bit of a flop through which is why she is now longer there.

You say that, but she became champ during the era of Beth, Mickie, Mellina (probably the most credible Diva champs/era since Trish left)... Injuries were the major downfall to her success (the company obviously weren't too fussed about her in-ring skills or they wouldn't have pushed her to the belt before all the injuries kept re-occuring.)

Yes they have lost better women, but Eve was starting to look like the one to fill the Mccool void as the old fashioned heel, getting heat and making the babyfaces look more interesting.

Admittedly the most capable girl they seemed to be prepared to use (Not like Natalia couldn't carry the division), but as I already said the whole Diva division is screwed - irrespective of talent - and won't be improving any time soon. Eve leaving will not prove detrimental to my viewing pleasure.

Triple H had a chance to hit that and he didn't do it? (i.e in 2005 when Christie was 25?)

Man, he is a really devoted husband.

And truly, I gasped out loud...please tell me that the 750k per year stat is a joke. Wow.
