What were some successful, yet slightly lesser-known games you enjoyed the most?
For me it was this game...
This game was just fucking awesome. The adventures of Jimmy Hopkins kept me busy for hours. Still ranks as my favorite Rockstar game. It captured the essence of childhood and life at school better than anything. The up's, the down's, romance, getting picked on, the popular kids, the losers, and all the little "factions" of students...
I can't imagine anyone playing this game and not finding something to relate to.
This is seriously a game I could play over and over again and never get tired of.
The game also stirred a ton of controversy prior to it's release, being described as a "Columbine game" which it couldn't have been more polar opposite of. I think the popularity of the game lost a lot of steam when everyone found out it was nothing like that, which is unfortunate considering what a masterpiece it was.
