Idk what's more pathetic. Rodrigo and his stance on CR or Jonathan's general existence.

Cristiano Ronaldo has said he is confident he will reach a deal to renew his contract with Real Madrid.
Speaking after Portugal's 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Russia in Lisbon on Friday, Ronaldo said: "I am well, calm and not worried about it. I know we will reach a deal."
With José Mourinho having departed for Chelsea this week, there has been speculation that Ronaldo, who arrived at Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 for a world record fee of £80m, would soon follow suit.
Ronaldo led Madrid to Copa del Rey success in his first season and then the Spanish title in 2011-12 under Mourinho but Real's failure to win major silverware last season and reports of division in the dressing room had prompted speculation that Ronaldo, whose contract runs until June 2015, might be seeking a move away from the Spanish capital.
The club president, Florentino Pérez, has described Ronaldo as "priceless" and said he would stay and help Real win the 10th European crown they have been chasing since their last Champions League success in 2002.
Ronaldo, who helped Portugal defeat Russia on Friday to revive their 2014 World Cup qualification campaign, declined to comment when questioned about Mourinho's remarks that he did not cope well with criticism.

Common to talk as if you're going to sign and then leave. I think Fabregas done the exact same thing. Another paper I was just reading reported he wants a staggering £32m a year... That's crazy. Also, why would he follow Jose Mourinho? They left on bitter terms and Mourinho only a few days ago publicly slammed him saying Ronaldo can't take criticism and thinks he is always right.

Though I do sort of expect Ronaldo to resign. I'm not as confident as some people in this thread that he's leaving Real Madrid, but I think this year is the most likely year. There seems to be more reasons to leave than there is to stay.

Graham Hunter - the guy I listen to mostly regarding La Liga news, who is mostly spot on - has stated Ronaldo doesn't want to stay at all. Apparently he doesn't like the direction Real Madrid are taking: the disorganisation, the chances of success, and doesn't like life in Spain as much as he thought he would have. Ronaldo is apparently pushing for a move and has complete power in the negotiations. The only thing stopping him leaving is the situation regarding Real Madrid simply not being able to let him go if they want any chances of success. They've had a horrible campaign this year (not competing in the league, losing cup final to rivals), and fans will not be happy if they sell their biggest star. However, if they refuse to sell Ronaldo, Ronaldo will play one more season and then leave SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper as he will then only have 12 months remaining on his contract. Real Madrid would never let Ronaldo go for free, so they need to decide whether keeping him this season is worth selling one of the best players in the world cheaply the next.

Hunter also stated that should Ronaldo leave - be it this year or next - his likely destination is United. He doesn't particularly want to play under Mourinho again and he was ultimately very happy at Manchester United. He has friends there, he loves the fans, they love him, and it's the place he wants to go. As a United fan listening to Graham talk about that made me wet, but I am desperately wanting this to happen THIS season. However, I think Real Madrid will refuse and sell hi cheaper, as they really can't compete if they lose him and don't get someone like Bale.

Sorry Rodrigo.
