91-6 Looking good isn't it lol.

Far out this is frustrating to watch, the worst thing is is the fact that there are no quality young batsmen performing for Australia outside the team. The best performing batsmen outside the team right now are Ricky Ponting who just retired and Simon Katich who is 37. There are no quality batsmen putting pressure on the current top six which is scary. The biggest threat is from another bowler or a bowling allrounder being added in place of a batsman.

If we can bowl you out for less than 150 i'd be very happy with that. A lead of over 200 runs to take into our 2nd innings. If we manage to get another 300-350 that'd be even better, setting Australia a target of 550+

I just want to avoid the follow on, that would be a nice start on a flat pitch. Bowlers again getting unneccessary pressure put on them, they shouldn't be required to bat as much as they have been the past couple of years.

Agar has a hip injury as well so he is struggling. At least it might mean that Lyon gets a game next test.

Shane Warne inducted into the ICC HOF. Everytime Nasser Hussain mentioned Liz Hurley, the crowd cheered. But Warne's induction must be a happy occasion for you as an Australian, Troy. And he deserves it too. Over 700 test wickets, nearly 300 ODI wickets too.

104-9. Haddin out for 7.

Another quick wicket would do nicely now. Then like I said, hopefully we can get another 300-350 runs and set Australia a target of at least 550 runs.

128 all out. Swann with 5 wickets.

We're not going to enforce the follow on, so hopefully now we can bat out the whole of tomorrow. I hope we can avoid losing a wicket before the close of play too. I'd like to see Cook and Root take their time with their shots, since there's still over 3 days left to play.

Pretty abysmal showing from the Australians. Our top order simply isn't good enough outside of a couple players. We're going to be outclassed and outplayed this whole series IMO.

2 wickets for Siddle, 2 inside edges onto the stumps. So much for me hoping we wouldn't lose a wicket before the close of play. Right now i'd say the advantage is with Australia.

Not watching atm but 3 wickets down already is fantastic. As much as the batting aspect of the Aussie team lets us down, our bowlers seem to make up for it whether it's with the ball or the bat and have saved our asses on many occasions.

So we skittle the Aussies out for just over 100 and end day 2 essentially 264/3 and you put them at an advantage? Come on man.

Well this is a tad one sided, just shows how pathetic our batting effort was in the first innings. Well play Joe Root, took advantage of his second life and batted sensibly. Grounded out runs early on and then once he was in picked up the scoring rate. I hope that Haddin and Clarke feel terrible, could have had him out for 8 when he produced an edge at a perfect catching height except Clarke and Haddin decided to stare into each other's eyes rather than actually catch the ball. Annoyed that Smith's catch wasn't upheld, he claimed it and the video evidence seemed to support him even the English commentators thought it was out.

Massive lead and Cook is doing the right thing by continuing to grind down Australia. There is no way this lineup can bat for five sessions to save a test. The worrying thing is that there are no good batting replacements in our squad, Watson should be dropped for being an idiot and for not being able to score runs the past two years at test level. Agar will most likely won't play next test after picking up that hip injury, and for only getting two wickets so far in two tests. Lyon has to play, looked great in India after the first test so should be given a chance. I can see Bird getting a game next test as well.
