I will be playing through Franchise with the Wheat Kings. While part of me wants to go to Montreal, I am doing one for the base teams and I have the Moose who play at the same park. So I'll go with my other fav new park.

Time for an update 8 games in!

First, my team is 7-1 to start and Kandi Sweet, after jumping in a dumpster (no, seriously. She did), increased to the rare S overall ranking. So she's busted and I love it. Another player I have grown attached to is Cinnimon Crisp. Cute name, and even though she is only a B-, she has solid pop at the plate and is a balanced fielder and runner. Also Claude LeBlanc is up to a B- after some training.

Now individual players.

Through seven games you have 5 home runs, 10 RBIs, and a .469 (nice) average. Your Boston Shamrocks are half a game back of my Kansas Wheat Kings.

.303 average for the contact hitter with a single home run and a stolen base to boot through 8 games. The Lions sit one game back in the Atlantic South. Not too shabby.

Smokey Blunt: @Chris

In the Bullpen, Smokey has stepped on the mound 6 times, getting one win and 2 saves so far. 4 strikeouts too. Hasn't given up a run in 6.2 innings so far. You are keeping then at .500 at 4-4.

Ivan Ivanovich: @Sasha

He is 0-1 after two starts and 11.2 innings pitched. His ERA is 3.27, so for a lower overall pitcher in a game which has A LOT of big hits, can be worse, especially since Phoenix is 3-5 to start. So they aren't setting the world on fire.

14 Games in. Might as well continue as best I can. Would be even further but I also got a franchise with one of the default teams (GO MOOSE!)

Kansas, our star, Kandi Kane, has 6 dingers so far in 10 games as a fielder and 4-0 as a pitcher with a 3.64 ERA. So could be a but better given her stats, but she's also got 29 is. So that's solid.

Claude has 3 starts. 19 ks, 2-0.

Shinzo has a .302 average and 19 hits in 15 games. 3 doubles, but 16 strike outs. So he's a reliable lead off hitter, but is willing to take a strike out I guess.

@Chris

Smokey has 3 saves and a win in nine appearances, and has a 0.00 ERA, only 9 hits against. So he's lights out as a closer. Just a shame his team is m-m-mid.

8 dingers. 25 hits in 15 games. A solid .368 average. 4 stolen bases. Just a great player. A beast. Shame he is in the same division as me... FOR HIM! MWAHAHAHA!

Despite being 1-2 through 4 starts, our Russian, I mean Ukrainian, has a 2.52 era, so that's solid for the third string pitcher for his team 19 strikeouts too, and the opposing team is batting under .200 against Ivan. Respectable.
