Thankfully we don't have Funnel Web Spiders in Queensland...
its too hot & swampy for them "up North"

Of course like most Australian wildlife...they are not to be fucked with.

We do have Salt Water Crocodiles & Eastern Brown Snakes in Townsville...
I've actually killed a few snakes in my time...mainly to protect the family pets.

It sucks...but I'm going to choose small friendly dog over long angry snake
any day of the week.

And Crocodiles...well yeah...they kill people so its best to avoid salt water
lakes & rivers in Australia...but every once in a while some tourist will go
swimming...& never be found...well...until a piece of them washes up on
a river bank.

Seriously...I have a HUGE amount of respect for nature & I never spend any
time in the outback, rivers or the ocean...because that space belongs to the
animals & frankly life is way less stressful without worrying about pissing off
the aggressive, poisonous wildlife by accidentally standing on it.
