hey man, Canada has some funny laws....for example you are allowed to smoke at the age of 16....but you can't buy smokes or any smoke/tabacco type products until your 19.... and its also against the law for someone 19 or older to buy/give smoke/tabacco products to anyone under 19....so how the fuck are 16 year olds legal to smoke?!?!?!
Haha yea that is pretty funny maybe they expect 16 year olds to find packs laying on the floor or something. But you guys are at least smart about the drinking age. 21 is way to high.
They've tried to change it a few times but I doubt it ever will. The way I figure it, is if at 16 you say they can smoke and drive then 19 is too old as well...but with Ontario's graduated licencing program most are 17 or 18 by the time they get there full licence now. The legal to smoke should change to 19 as well though.
