:isee:...barnyard brawl. Will there be farm animals around the ring? and hay barrels?
But of course there would be. There would be a few goats there...a few pigs. There would be a hay barrel in each corner. In addition to the farm animals surrounding the ring, the mat would be covered in mud, and the only way to win is to throw your opponent over the top rope and into the mud below. Book it Vince, bro

Here's a thought that recently occurred to me...
What if the Devil that Wyatt is referring to is the Undertaker, but the Undertaker doesn't know it? He could end up playing Bryan and Taker off each other, trying to use them both for his own ends. This can help establish him with the fans as a manipulative heel with a flair for chess like strategy (thinking several moves ahead).
Somehow Wyatt will get Bryan to confront the Undertaker, but even if he denies being "the Devil" you know Bryan won't believe him because of his past mental issues. This leads to Bryan siding with Wyatt for a while. All this time Wyatt is wanting to face Taker at WM, but the whole plan backfires because of Bryan. With the chip on Bryan's shoulder, he harasses the Undertaker constantly until he agrees to face him at WM.
But before the WM match, Bryan discovers that Wyatt had been lying to them both. He doesn't want to face the Undertaker based on a lie, but Taker smacks some reality into him reminding him that if he wants to be a top dog, he has to man up and face him on the biggest stage. So instead of heel Bryan vs Face Taker, we get an honor match between two faces. This sets up the perfect opportunity for Bryan to get the rub of ending The Streak. Especially if Taker taps out to him, which would be truly symbolic as "passing the torch".

To be completely honest, when I started reading your post, I thought, "Nah. They'd never do that. It's too complex and it would either come off as undecipherable or stupid."

As I read further, however, I came to think it was a pretty terrific idea. The only problem I actually have with it is the idea of Taker tapping out. I can't imagine that, even in Bryan or anybody else's wildest dreams, Taker would tap out. I mean, the whole reason he started using the knee kick (they need a fancy name for that move, by the way) was because they couldn't have Cena tap out to the LeBell Lock. By that same reasoning, it would be completely reasonable for Taker to be pinned after a knee kick (or two or three...whatever). Other than that, I completely love the idea. Plus, it sets up a post-Mania feud between Bryan and Wyatt, since Bryan stole Wyatt's thunder and Bryan is pissed at Wyatt for manipulating him. What better rub could Wyatt get than having a post-Wrestlemania feud with the guy who just beat the streak?

Taker wouldn't have to necessarily tap out, but to me that would make the victory definitive. Especially if there ends up being any interference or controversy.
I for one would be happy if the Undertaker never wrestled again. He has always been one of my favorites, and The Streak is one of professional wrestling's greatest accolades. But I hate to see him reduced to doing what is essentially a dog and pony show just for ratings. If his body is that far gone that he can only do a couple matches a year, then it is time to hang it up. And in that case, either The Streak should remain intact, or an up and coming star needs to get the rub that would come from being the one to end it. Lesnar and Cena make no sense, and no one else on the roster is over enough nor believable enough to beat the Taker at WM. At least Bryan is set up in a position to be ready for it.
And since it would be a face breaking The Streak in a match based on the honor of the two competitors, instead of a heel, then the Undertaker's loss won't leave a bad taste in as many people's mouths. Unless you particularly hate the vanilla midgets, of course...

I agree completely bro. I think D Bryan would be a perfect choice to end the streak. With Triple H calling him a B player, a win over Taker would prove to Triple H that Daniel's in fact an A player, from a kayfabe standpoint. Obviously it would do wonders for his career outside of kayfabe bros

Daniel Bryan ending The Streak?
:mog:
I'd rather see him and Taker in a match on Raw or Smackdown first before even considering Bryan for the "Streak vs Beard" match you all are driving at.

I like your way of thinking. Streak vs Beard? YES. Though, I don't know which would be a bigger loss...Bryan losing his beard or Taker losing the streak

Both would indeed be a huge loss for the WWE imo

I don't know, but if he is, I'm rewriting Black Sabbath to fit Undertaker.

Taker is coming 'round again, jobbers runnin' because they're scared!
