Corey Graves got his tattoo on his knuckle at age 18, CM Punk got his around that time too, When CM Punk was 25 Corey Graves was 18, There was no way Graves would have found out about Punk until many years later. Also noting both men made their debuts within a year of each other so there is no way in hell that Graves knew who Punk was or about his tattoos also worth noting that knuckle tattoos aren't uncommon. As for the topic in hand, I don't think Corey is trying to copy CM Punk. While it is true, CM Punk does possess tattoos on his knuckles, there are many people that do the same.

For example, here's singer Ozzy Osbourne:

As shown, he has tattoos on his knuckles as well, but he has had them longer than CM Punk has had his. Knuckle tattoos are usually received when a person has a short message to write to people, I have seen others with Roman numbers, one saying "Read More", and so many others. It is possible that Corey was influenced by CM Punk to get the tattoos, but it's also a possibility that he wasn't. It's his choice in the end, and we shouldn't judge him in a negative way for making his decision, since it will not bring anything good but hating on a fresh young talent.

Maybe because Corey Graves and CM Punk are two fucking completely different wrestlers. No one will ever be where CM Punk is at because no one else is CM Punk besides CM Punk. There are so many different things wrestlers can do to be at the top. The only thing you related Graves and Punk with is the fucking tattoos on their fingers. Graves may or may not be succesful but he doesn't have to be fucking CM Punk to do so.

1: Anyway, was just thinking about Graves' hair. He's trying that weird-old-CM Punk hair look except without the long hair, and I didn't know that was possible. It looks terrible, but I can almost respect it since he's created a whole new hairstyle!

Nobody will know what I'm talking about here but it's kind of like "progressive" metal. Ya know those bands who have weird tunes and play 20 minute songs that can easily be condensed into 6 but they just have to make them as "epic" as possible by randomly breaking into bass lines for no reason and repeating the same riffs for like 3 minutes in different ways? Yeah, when I was younger they excited me because "oooh, these guys do weird stuff!", but now I just look at them and yell in a high-pitched Tyler Perry voice "The hell are you doin'?"
