- Marcus Cor Von is officially on a leave of absense from WWE. He was forced to take time off to take care of his nieces and nephews due to problems within the family.

- from Jeff Sheridan: article about "Anchorwoman" cancellation on contactmusic.com

- Next week's Smackdown in New York will be Saturday 9/1 at 8PM

- Legends Bruno Sammartino & Larry Zbyzsko will be guest on this week's Trash Talking Radio Tuesday night. The TTRS chat room can be found here
Gerweck.net

Damn looks like Cor von will out of the wwe for a while but I think he needs to help out his family hopefully when he comes back he can be put the ECW title picture.

Either Cor Von is very messy with his finances or there is something else he is hiding. Too bad because with Punk winning the title ECW needs their heels

I heard something like his sister was either killed or sent to jail for life. SO the kids mindstate isn't good right now. I guess Monty was the closest family member to them. So he's gotta spend the time with them, and can't just get a babysitter.

I think the fact that he's taking time off to actually take care of his family IS "getting his shit together". There are more important things in this world than wrestling, even if it is your current profession. Family is one of those things. I give him huge amounts of credit for taking time off a well paying job to make his family a priority.

I hope Marcus Car Bomb can overcome everything. ECW needs a lot of help with their roster and he could help them in the long run. I also miss seeing the Pouuuunce!!

I hope Cor Von returns soon as he is a breath of fresh air for ECW. I also heard that one of his family died, I instantly thought of the Benoit situation but I guess Cor Von is a great Uncle and will look after his sister's kids as they probably would want a family member rather than a stranger babysitting in this hard time.
