I have to choose Genesis. I never owned a SNES but i was all set with the Genesis. Plus Sonic is one of my all time favorite games.

Nintendo for one reason. Chrono Trigger. Such an awesome game, if you've never played it check it out. Oh and also cause it was the first system I ever got so it has a special place in my heart. Lol.

Agreed. The fact that it had close to 20 endings made it even better. Also, Super Metroid, Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past, Contra III. Simply put, SNES > Sega Genesis.

I forgot to add. Secret of Mana and the Final Fantasy series were SNES exclusive. That=win!

Sega definitely IMO...Sonic has always been 1 of my favorites and I liked Revenge of Shinobi, Shadowrun, and Royal Rumble were classics IMO...

sega hands down, i had regular nintendo not super, but i liked the sega the best, would stay up all night playing it, wake up in the morn early for school just to play it, get ready for school, play sega, eventually got rules that i couldnt play b4 school or not that long after school, got in trouble for breaking rules, use to give my lil bro in sis money i found to let me play that game when they was playing, just to hurry up and play while dad went to store or something, sonic.. all time classic, what else did i have um Shaq fu that shaq game thats like mortal kombat pretty cool, chuck rock son of chuck i believe is what another was called, and a game like bejewled too, i remember playing a micheal jackson game to but dont know where its at and when i tell ppl bout it they think im playing but there really was a micheal jackson game

SNES because of Legend of Zelda and i'm like the biggest fanboy of the LoZ series in the IWF. I played every last single Zelda game except for cd-i

Also theres Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy.

I woulda picked Sega because of Snatcher and Policenauts but none of you probably know what that is. Plus LoZ was my childhood so yeah.

Old Nintendos just owned. Not much you can really do about it. The games and gameplay were great. Sure sega had good games too and Sonic definitely gets it some points. But old Nintendo just had it going on. I voted Nintendo obviously hands down. Killer Instinct, Mario, all that shit was beautiful. Plus I never had a sega, so maybe thats why too lol.
