Christopher Daniels has told friends that his attitude towards TNA's creative direction was cited among the reasons for his recent release from the company.

Meanwhile, company sources believe he had a guaranteed contract that was signed when he and Samoa Joe were prominently featured. He was given no warning that his release was coming and there were a lot of people surprised over the move.

Though he had done his share of complaining over the years, sources indicate he had been fairly quiet in recent months. Another source noted Daniels as "the ringleader" of a vocal group that includes AJ Styles, Joe and Kazarian. The source agreed that Daniels had been quiet as of late, but added that he believes people within the organization didn't forget that he complained previously.

Seriously, if anyone in TNA has room to be TNA's Clique it would be these guys so they shouldn't be surprised if Daniels talked about Russo and the writing.

Well you could tell someone from new management didn't like him. He went from main eventing 2 ppvs back to back to jobbing to Sean Morely. It was either keep being booked like shit or leave.

I'm really going to miss him. One of the best wrestlers from TNA.

^^^AJ can only wrestle. He sucks at talking. So it doesn't matter where he goes, he's not destined for bigger and better things at the moment, he just doesn't have the "it" factor to be a mega star for the E. He's trying though, he's slowed his pace a little and actually trying to work some psychology into his matches a bit and it looks like he's roiding a little bit too, he's looking noticeably bigger every month.

Joe, on the other hand, has the "it". He can talk, he can connect with the fans and he doesn't look like an underwear model. He should have AJ's spot, because when he's motivated he's the absolute best fresh talent in TNA. But I think he's been mailing it in since the Nation of Violence debacle, I guess he figures if TNA is going to be lazy and cheap with his booking, he should give them the same ring product in return.

As for Daniels, couldn't this have been put into the other thread. He already showed up in RoH like 3 weeks ago. Good for him, RoH isn't small when compared to TNA, who I think they should view as their competition more than they do the E. RoH also tours more and draws some similar numbers to TNA's out-of-Orlando houses.

plus WWE has been sending some eyes over ROH's way over the past few years. TNA really missed the ship there: limiting talent from competing in ROH
