I think all in all it's gonna come down to 14 matches and 4 of them will probably be on the kickoff so that the people on the main show get to have longer matches. If we actually end up with 14 matches, it's 1 match more than last year which means the shows are still increasing in length by the year lol. It's honestly a shame that Mania's are so cramped these days but every year they're in this difficult situation where they wanna keep it simple and interesting, yet you have to have as many people on there as possible to get people paid and viewers happy that their favorite is booked.
So I'm actually interested in seeing who'll end up on the kickoff this year. I see the Andre battle royal taking up a spot there as the women will probably get their own spotlight on the main card because women empowerment and all that jazz. Yet then it's already though because the Usos, for example, made it public in a promo that they're not gonna be on the kickoff this year and that they wanna shine on the actual show. Same goes for the cruiserweights as WWE probably doesn't want to put them on the kickoff again for the second year in a row, yet they'll probably have to. The US title would also be a contender for the kickoff, then again, it's got Randy Orton in it.. and Orton on a pre-show just looks a bit off
