Since this seems to be a reoccurring trend now with a few wrestlers (one major one being Sasha Banks), I thought this would make for a good discussion.

I am all for people speaking up if they are being mistreated or neglected (health wise). By all means, voice your frustration and make sure things get handled. I however have an issue with people complaining for the sake of complaining. It is no secret that WWE does what they want with the gimmicks, story lines, and champion spots. The creative team is in charge and you know this signing on with the company. If a wrestler starts crying or complaining over losing a belt or not having a story go the way they want, and then they threaten to leave... Let them go. I know WWE isn't some magical fairy land place to work at but PLENTY of men and women from around the world would kill to be part of the company as a wrestler.

I don't know when this complaining trend started or this threatening to quit thing took off but it is annoying to hear about all the time. If you are not happy, THEN LEAVE. If you are under contract, then you should have been more specific before signing on with the company about the direction you want your career to go. Wrestlers are independent contractors. They should know to go over every part of a contract before signing on. Sure, some things you may not be prepared for and sometimes things just don't go as expected but most of the time, unhappiness within the WWE can be avoided simply by understanding what place you will have within the company.

As someone on the outside, hearing about these complaints and threats... It just annoys me and makes me like the person who is doing the complaining and threatening a whole hell of a lot less. This kind of stuff should be voiced within the company, not to fans or on social media.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

How would you handle someone threatening to quit unless they got what they wanted if they worked for you?

I hope she gets fired or all this gets resolved soon, I'm tired of the reports on it.

I think she has the right to be frustrated.

She was once the most over wrestlers in the company and she's been in lingo forever. She and Bayley pushed for the tag-titles to be brought and they only had a month reign.

Mind you, you gotta consider the fact that the position you're in also equates to how much money you make. Dean was one of the most over stars too and they turned him heel which evidently led him to quitting the company because they ruined his character. I don't think it's out of character to bitch about your position to social media. It gets people talking to a point where other companies might make a better offer to her.

Complainers blow. To the Ziggler's and Sasha Banks' of the world, it's bigger than f'ing you.

I've been at WWEF over 7 years. This place is still running because it isn't about ONE person and their selfish points of view. Things have turned for the better because certain members decided to contribute rather than b*tch.

To the complainers who left, good riddance. It's no coincidence long time members haven't complained. If I had to guess, the foundation of this place are just hard working people willing to do what it takes.

Took guts for Solidus to be real about things, rather than jet. Members responded and here we are. I agree with Solid Snake. Contribute decently, find a helpful solution or feel free to be shown the door.

The revival are the biggest complainers ever. They just moaned and got their way without doing any work or getting over.

Sasha actually has the right to complain. She has been poorly booked for 4 years now. Absolutely nothing to do with her losing a title or a match.

Everyone has the right to feel frustrated or any other emotion they want. Bitching about it to fans on social media and constantly complaining about the place you work for is just in bad taste. I never cared for Sasha so maybe I am biased to the idea of showing her the door after multiple complaints. I mean other people have complained on social media and didn't get away with it.

the more people they sign, the more will be unsatisfied with their spot in the company, because they can't make everyone a major star. Sure, there are people like R-Truth or Heath Slater for example, who just like being there while making a good living but most others strive to be "the one". And I can't knock someone for wanting to be the best, it's literally what you're supposed to do but patience and timing is everything.

I thought Kofi's Mania victory was a perfect example of this. It took 11 years.. but that was a moment of a lifetime that arguably wouldn't have been as big if he just won the WWE title 2-3 years into his career. I'm not saying everyone should shut the fuck up and eat shit in the midcard for over a decade to finally reach the summit, but sometimes you have to wait for that right moment and make the best out of your current situation. If they don't, you get something like the Revival and they just throw you a bone that won't mean much in a year or so.

We don't even know if these reports of Banks' frustration are true but if they are, Sasha has every right to exercise her freedom of speech, even if I think it's a bit of an overreaction given that there a lot of wrestlers in WWE who have it way worse than her

This is nothing new. As far back as 1991, people like Sid were getting fed up with Hulk Hogan having tantrums because he was loosing popularity and because they wanted the Ultimate Warrior to add Sid to his list of squashed wrestlers. There are many other examples. WWE tends to not take into account the bad effects their programming has on the wrestlers. Human beings can only take so much and no more.

I can understand she's frustrated with her positioning in the company but she just really needs to accept her role below the likes of Charlotte, Becky, Alexa etc she still has a decent resume besides short lived title reigns on the MR.

Remember when workers could voice their distaste with the company they worked for and the company listened? Yeah me neither.
