To be fair, Vince doesn't see anything in Adam Cole, yet... I only seen a few matches, and I see Adam Cole as the modern day Shawn Michaels, but Vince doesn't see it that way, so he was gonna give him shit booking or storylines, which is why he signed with AEW.

And that was a good move for Cole. He has shown his chops.

I say the same thing for Keith Lee, but Keith Lee has EVERYTHING Vince wanted in a "tanker" superstar. 3 move set, can use the mic, and can tell a story. There's more I am forgetting, but he's everything Vince wanted. Sigh.

But let’s flashback to his NXT debut. He came in and super kicked the brand’s Champion in the face. Stating hey, Adam Cole is going to be a player.

Debut in AEW: Comes out to a big pop and 2 minutes afterwards, a bigger star debuts and makes him him insignificant.

And I know he’s undefeated, I know he’s the #1 contender but it’s the people he worked with to get here that bothers when when I talk about his booking. Again, he was wrestling a dinosaur, a guy like Orange Cassidy who isn’t the big deal he was a year ago. Doing comedy shit with the Young Bucks. You don’t do that with top guys. They didn’t do it with Punk, they’ve kept it to a minimum with Danielson.

Lol if you think Adam Cole hasn't been booked a top guy when he debuted right at the end of their biggest PPV so far, leads the top heel faction in the company and is undefeated officially but not booked as a top guy , you don't know what being booked as a top guy means.


If you don't like the booking go for it but to say he hasn't been booked as a top guy might be one of the funniest things I've read

Good to know main eventing a PPV, leading the top heel faction in the company (or second if you think it is the Pinnacle) and officially unbeaten in singles competition (yes I hated the finish of that match too) isn't a push.

Only way he could be pushed more is literally already being champion.
