Punk's inability to work within the confines of being a face (in modern day WWE) is a slight fault, but I can't blame him for that really, not many guys can pull it off.

The only point is if you see CM Punk and had no idea who he was, he would not look like a guy who is intimidating. Again I ask, if you saw CM Punk at a bar and he was hitting on your girlfriend would you hesitate to ask him outside for fisticuffs?

Agreed, I'm a fan of his out with it nature in interviews. But in his media appearances he can be sub-par when advertising the product.

Not from Punk, but if it were Triple H or a guy that looked like that you'd have second thoughts.


Another thing about Punk's look remember when he and Johnny Ace were feuding and Ace was always looking down at him? It made it unbelievable when Punk feigned the punch and Ace flinched, because kayfabe wise you are like 'well why wouldn't Ace just kick this little dude's ass?'

Punk has that psychotic gleam in his eyes sometime. Like in his SES run where he looked so much like Charlie Manson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Manson )
Where he may not kick your ass but he'd order people to. He has the cult leader feel to him and so many of his fans are like a cult following. I know it was a gimmick but there was something which made it look a little too real imo.
