I am not speaking about "being over". I am speaking about being a credible title challenger (the "in kayfabe" line was to avoid you saying that Mysterio isn't in real life a believable challenger for the heavyweights). Mysterio can midcard for a year, and out of nowhere challenge for the main belt and people will buy it. Morrison can't do that, and since CM Punk as a heel would be new, he needs someone experienced and credible to get the fans to buy him.
