That's ridiculously obvious just going by The Shield's debut angle

Yeah that was obviously where it was going and we didn't need Punk to confirm it even though it was cool to hear that he actually came up with the idea behind the shield. I mean it all worked out for the shield in the end but I did like the idea of the Shield being his group hired by Heyman.

I'm glad they didn't go with that angle tbh. I didn't even like when The Shield became The Authority's security force (even though that made for an awesome face turn) because I wanted them to literally just have their own agenda that no one really knew. Go after faces and heels both and just have the whole roster fear them

Hero instead of Reigns.....that belly would be constantly poking out of that vest.

Not to mention Ambrose and Rollins wouldn't be hitting the gym as hard as they did without Reigns being their big brother.

Personally, I've always liked Punk, and I can see where he's coming from.
Not to drudge up the Staph story yet again, but I would think that a doctor working for a wrestling organization would be able to tell it was staph at a single glance.

Using part timers: I can see the WWE sending in part time legends to push buyrates at big events, but when it's Raw or SD, or something, they're just eating TV time. That's for today's guys to get their names out there so one day they can be at said event. And furthermore, said part timers would be better used to get guys over. I'm not saying "lose", but maybe have a solid match with someone who's not "The Guy". If you think that wouldn't work, I'd like to direct your attention to the Shield.

Ryback: The fact that Ryback is the most unsafe worker in the WWE today has been well documented. Moot point.

Rusev: CM Punk doesn't give a shit about the younger talent. So much so, that he gives sage advice to one that many believed wouldn't even last this long. Name one established guy in the back that would have told him all that shit. Go on, I'll wait.

I'll elaborate further. Work calls.

Just a few comments. Yes Punk handled his departure quite badly. Yes Punk has a big ego. Yes Punk's comments here are not great. And your point is?

You can say that about a lot of guys, and some have much bigger egos and have abused the biz much more than Punk. Besides which I still think he is working you all, and having a big laugh at all the hate.

I love hearing his side of things. It was nice to know what really happened, and how he felt about the situation.

I wouldn't call Punks comments the truth, his version of it yeah but the truth would be somewhere between Punks claims and WWE's potential claims. All Punk did was complain about all the IWC cliches, stuff to make his marks pop.

Personally, I've always liked Punk, and I can see where he's coming from.

Theres always reports of Cena helping younger guys out, Taker as well, HHH does a lot thesedays with the NXT stuff.

As far as part timers go, that segment on Raw with The Rock got Rusev more attention than he's ever had, people who dont even watch anymore know that Rusev exists now.

I'm guessing the point is CM Punk is two faced, side talker who sold marks on being a victim of the WWE machine and being some voice of the voiceless but he benefitted the most from the system he was supposedly trying to change.

Which by that, makes people like myself who sees through that not take his claims at face value. And his allegations about their Wellness Policy and treatment of injuries are serious, shit like that with no bullshit filter opens the floodgates to others to make the same claims.....like when all of a sudden a hundred ex wrestlers crawled out of the holes they were living in and accepting money to talk about how evil the rassling business is after the Benoit incident.

I hate him professionally and personally, yes I know hate is a strong word but him and Daniel Bryan ruined my enjoyment of wrestling and turned me away as a fan so I think it's applicable.

However I have to agree he has a valid point, no matter how big these part time guys are and no matter how little Punk deserves to go over them, losing to every last one of them only to see them leave and your loss mean nothing would piss me off too.

Seems you can only be one extreme of the argument ITT tho. So I'll call Punk and you fanboys smurfs and go about my business.

Also why is he so coy about being married to that Thai ladyboy? He seemed cautious on the podcast and has chewed someone out on Twitter just for mentioning her name

Maybe he did change things though. Whose to say that Daniel Bryan and the like wouldn't be getting their pushes. Thing is for all the bad things you can say about Punk, for me the good still out weighs the bad. He has worked very hard over years, has consistently put on some of the best matches in the company, for the most part has been entertaining/interesting on the mic or as a character, and has put more guys over than most without complaining. Did he leave in an unprofessional way? Yes. And some of his comments have been a bit much, but others such as HBK and Kevin Nash have abused the company far more.

Dude he bitched about every single guy he ever put over on that podcast.

Plus I disagree with all other points. He's a terrible professional wrestler and a specialist in sob story cry-me-a-river promos. We've all argued enough over the years in various threads over why this is.
