Yes but that doesn't make him one of the best mic workers in that list. There's plenty who were better (IMO) on the mic.
Hogan didn't get people pumped up via his mic skills. Hogan got people pumped up by his mere presence.
On the mic he was good at best. There are only so many times you can hear the word brother and not go insane (look at Steiner)

I don't accept that Punk would actually consider Austin (whom he loves and respects) getting the top spot an example of "political favoritism." Maybe those comments were made in character. When I first saw the thread title, I actually thought Punk was gonna complain that he wasn't high on the list or something.

There's quite a few who wouldn't even make the list in most people's opinions. That's what he's referring to. If he was posting in character it would be "OMG CONGRATS GUYS LY XOXO"

Piper is only one number below Austin, so it seems he's directing that comment towards only him, which seems natural since the two of them have had a few tweets back and forth before (in-character, of course.)
The list could use a few adjustments. And I agree, Hogan wasn't know for his mic skills/promos, it was more for his charisma, looks, presence, star power... those things.

I agree, Santino is a good mic worker, but he shouldn't be on the list. It would be one more spot for a serious character, but it's just a WWE.com list. We shouldn't worry about it.
