I've always thougth Romans regin... will end with some dumbassery like he's just injured and they vacate it. Hell I'm not sure why we haven't seen an angle where Romans gone so long they start a tourney winner gets the belt and he comes back just before the finish of the crowning match some shit like that.

Back to Punk. It's hilarious imo his Raw promo was like a neutered dog. It felt lifeless to me, it didn't have the injury I expect. I don't know what they plan to do with him because he is a top tier guy and having him in the mid card doesn't make sense to me unless there is a belt he never won? But we have so many guys that deserve the belt already or at the very least the matches at the end of the night.

Punk is a problem child, but he does have skill, but we went years without him and I'm not ready to put others on the back burner for him.

I think he still gets it this year, they just do something along the lines of the HBK/Taker build where he fails in getting back to Roman via the Rumble. Maybe he wins the Chamber then instead.

Yeah I basically said this too just didn't think about the HBK comparison. If I had to bet one one scenario it's Cody loses the Rumble but the Rumble winner faces Seth and Cody gets Roman another way

I really don't think there is anyone else for Roman anyway so all roads (pun intended) should lead to Cody. The WHC picture on the other hand is just a beautiful mess, I couldn't even start to guess who the 2 people are going to be who fight for it at Mania.

Pretty much. They haven’t had a back to back winner of the Rumble since Austin in 97/98 and I don’t think that changes. I still say Gunther wins the Rumble but Punk may be a dark horse now.

Cody definitely wins the Chamber though.
