Once again, I would Punk is smart enough to realize this is the last chance to save his reputation in the business. And he’s working under an umbrella that runs a much tighter ship.

Im assuming everything will be fine

Idk why people think WWE would’ve hired Punk back without guaranteeing he’ll be on his best behavior. And even if something does go sideways and they had to fire him I doubt it would hurt WWE that much. If anything it would just make Punk look even worse and ruin his legacy permanently

I'm going to put this in spoilers but these are things I read about WWE plans for Punk

So from what I read, Punk is planned to feud with Seth Rollins first concluding at WrestleMania. There are also plans for him to feud with Roman Reigns. Which probably means that Reigns will retain his championship at WrestleMania then go on to feud with Punk. And by then either Punk would have gotten himself fired which would put a squash on the Reigns feud and Reigns is still champion forever or Punk, now the World Heavyweight Champion faces Reigns in yet another title unification match and one way or the other WWE has a single part-time champion. Whatever gets ratings and money.

Venis is a piece of shit, even in the business. Dude won a world title in Mexico and immediately bitched out and ran crawling to WWE because he'd rather be midcarder for life than a world champion.

I think it was likely more about making a bunch of money

I mean, yeah, that's largely it, but an incredibly shitty move to leave a company within weeks of winning the world title, but that's that late 90s for ya.

Most people would’ve done the same thing
