I personally havent enjoyed AEW nearly as much since he’s been gone. I still watch but have nowhere near the level of excitement I used to have when he was there now that I have with him back in WWE.

That’s fair. Collision certainly feels different, but I do think AEW and Tony finding the feeling since has brought on some good television.

At least since Revolution. I still need to catch up on before Revolution.

I feel like punk fans who came and went were only fans of punk and not really fans of what AEW has always been about

I think my main complaint is switchblade. He’s got such a up and down presentation. He felt like a monster at Big Business and then Billy basically killed him last night. I figured Billy would get his heat back, but give Jay a little bit more :bosque

Yeah, probably. I do think some are trying to stay because you typically don’t watch a whole program for one person. You gotta latch onto other things.

I know my friend from my Minnesota kinda has his highs on AEW some months and then he’s kinda not into it anymore. Started with Punk being fired, but he did enjoy the all out show we saw.

I haven’t watched a full episode of Collision in awhile. Maybe now that I have YouTube tv I’ll record it so I don’t forget about it.

I still watch like I said but it’s not as fun to me anymore. It doesn’t help that a lot of the people I really like there are either injured or just not being heavily featured.

I too wish they fired Punk after All Out in hindsight, because I wouldn’t have soured on him like I did, as I didn’t really sour on him til he came back and got into another fight.

It’s like with WWE. I was already sort of thinking about going back for Cody and other stuff I heard was better lately, but once I heard Punk was back I was in. Now that I’m in, I’m enjoying a lot of what they’re doing. Probably like more than I don’t from what I’ve seen.

And there’s a lot of people that have this same thought process.

There are a lot people that stopped watching wrestling when CM Punk walked out of the WWE in 2014. A lot of those people started watching again when he signed with AEW. There’s a reason why Collision numbers were so high at the beginning. They watched it for him. And when he left, some of those people left too.

Breakups happen. People move on. Shit happens. It just wasn’t a good match.

You love Punk; good for you. You have a hate boner for Punk; good for you. Both sides have some fault in this breakup.

It was just not gonna work. The atmosphere was already tainted. They should have cut bait, but unfortunately the network wanted him.

I would personally say just enjoy what he’s doing in WWE. Know both parties are better off without each other. All reports indicate he’s happy in WWE and he’s been at NXT helping out and whatnot. Of course, you don’t have to.

I wanna like him and eventually I’ll let go of everything, I always do, it just will take some time, but I’m sure I’ll get there.

Jay White's booking if you just book the MJF title match without the whole stupid angle surrounding it and THIS FUCKING UTTER TURD OF A MATCH WHICH IS THE FIRST MATCH IN A LONG TIME I HAVE DETESTED (I'm not a big Jay White fan) didn't happen I think it has been solid. Reasonably protected, only lost to big names, pinned Moxley and Page, always looked like a threat. But the MJF match was damaging and made him look weak. However they recover. Then you had the Acclaimed supergroup which could have worked with an actual feud with the United Kingdom. But yeah he looked like a killer versus Darby. This tho? Like people were mad over the Copeland promo. Nah be mad over who thought it would be a good idea to have Billy Gun act like Goldberg and beat up Jay plus win via DQ. I rarely get mad at AEW but OMG that match pissed me off.

(still a good episode overall)
