In the dark match after RAW this week, Batista squashed CM Punk with a spinebuster for the 3-count in approximately one minute.

A correspondent at the event noted that Kane seemed to receive more crowd reaction than Punk did before their match during the live show, and fans were behind Batista during the dark match main event. Of course this was only a dark match, and it might not be worth reading into it too much regarding the future of Punk’s main event push.

while the Batista-Booker T feud from 06 sucked and such.....

and now both punk/joe get Ka-CLocked By Both Booker-'Tista.

lol, firstly, usually, the guy who loses going into a PPV wins at a PPV. WWE has always been like that, so it was just an easy win for Batista, based ont he crowd reaction.
But anyways, ths doesnt mean much, seeing as Punk has helped bring Raw's rating back up since being champ. But ya, this doesnt mean he's losing at the GAB, it means nothing.

Punk is DEFINITELY winning at the Bash. They even made the poll last night which had Punk as the most likely to lose his belt. Add to that the beatdown by Batista, and it points to Punk retaining... And hopefully turning heel :shifty:

Anyway, that's funny that Punk got treated like Noble on RAW, and after RAW lost in a minute....if they were going to give the strap to Batista in the first place, why waste it by giving it to Punk just so he can give it to Batista, when Edge could of just lost to him? Makes no sense to me, but I think Punk will win anyway, due to Kane

It was a dark match. They dont count or advance storylines. Its like a house show. They try to send the fans home happy and Batista is obviously more over then Punk.

^ I wish he would do the pepsi plunge. The GTS has a high chance of not hitting the guy properly in the face, if the guy moves, so it can sometimes look bad. The Pepsi Plunge is much better IMO.
