One of the big key differences here. Tony didn't do anything to have Punk try to fight him, in fact Tony has bent over fucking backwards for Punk many times. If you tried fighting a boss who went out of his way to do a lot of shit for you, then yeah you got a problem. It's not like Tony has been shit to him, treated him like shit, not gave him things he asked for, etc. Nah, Tony tried everything he could to make Punk happy, and that's how Punk repaid him.
