5 years?....:finger:

He's got until the Rumble i don't like The Rock but we all know he's going to win it...if he beat Cena the WWE'S golden boy what makes you think Punk isn't going to lose?

Another year with Punk as WWE champion and the WWE will burn out a lot of fans. Not to mention that stops other main event pushes from happening.

We can't have Punk burying the entire roster for two years. Not in this era. WWE isn't as popular and Vince can't afford to run off any fans.

So in closing he drops the title to Rock and will have the Miz effect i think he may fall down the card. If he's a second thought with the WWE title just imagine him not having it.

Rocky will take it at the Royal Rumble. If not, Taker will take it at WM.

Sure, that would have been great a few years ago when Taker was more or less full time. He can't be full time anymore. I posted that for discussion :).

Randy predicted it.. :notsure:

Nothing is impossible.

One year, or so I hope. His reign has been lackluster and has been stale for a while now, hasn't really done anything all that memorable either since the shoot..

I can see him carrying it until Wrestlemania or possibly Summerslam, depending on how the storylines go.

It literally makes 0 sense to give the title to Rocky, which #wwelogic says will happen.

It makes a little sense for him to lose the title at Mania to Taker, but I don't think that would happen (there's another post floating around here with my thoughts on that).

The other storyline that comes to mind has Ryback winning the Rumble (by doing the Shellshock to the other 29 guys in the match at the same time), then challenging Punk at Mania and winning the title from him at that point (also predicated on Punk beating Rocky, obviously there won't be Ryback-Rock at Mania, unless there are some serious injuries to main eventers).

He will drop it at the Royal Rumble, sad but true

And if they somehow decide to keep it on him, then he will drop at WrestleMania....

TBH His reign has already reached brilliant state, so if he drop it, it won't matter now as he is soon to become the longest reigning WWE Champion in RAW history :smug:

I think he will lose it at Mania to The Rock. He will cheat at the Royal Rumble. The Rock will come back to win the Royal Rumble match and challenge Punk on Raw.

I think Punk will lose it at Wrestlemania to Cena (yawn) or Ryback after either of winning the Royal Rumble. Of course he would have retained The Rock due to cheating.

He won't keep it past WM29. I seriously doubt Rock is winning at the Rumble though, either Cena or Ryback will take it at Wrestlemania. Undertaker definitely isn't winning it again.

Wherever they end up going with it, he'll end up being the longest-reigning WWE Champion in the last 25 years or so.

Currently, that record is held by Cena, whose longest reign was 380 days. The only reigns longer were Hogan, Backlund, Morales, and Sammartino. Those reigns go back to the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's. Since Punk is at 370 as of today, he'll definitely be holding it for another 11 days, which will put him ahead of Cena.

I stand by my earlier prediction of him dropping the title at Mania or Summerslam.
