What did you think of Austin getting his ass whooped all match and then a thesz press followed by stompin the mud hole, and then the stone cold stunner, but most of the time he could skip the first two steps and just pull out a random stunner, orton style. I agree with you for the most part but they still had guys like cena in the AE. Stone Cold was just way cooler and had matches with guys like Brett Hart that were simply amazing.

That's my point though. Hart and Austin had a fantastic match because everything that happened meant something in the grand scheme of the match. They were able to do a double turn without saying a word. Almost every SCSA match after that was ended by a random stunner. To go back to the or initial reason this was brought up, to say Punk is better than Hart in the ring baffles me. He's good, but he doesn't bring the best out of every opponent he faces, except for Cena.

As for Adam, watch the KOTR the year Bret won it. 3 different matches with three totally different opponents, all fantastic matches . If you still feel the same way after watching that PPV, I'll leave the issue alone.

Okay, i get what you're saying now, my mistake. I just thought it was important to point out that AE did have those guys that would pull of random heroic(anti authority in austin case) comebacks. Brett Hart is one of the best to ever suit up, and punks career is far from over. I think i'll be more comfortable comparing the two after his career is over. Hart's career in my opinon went down pretty fast once vince screwed him, but before that happened he was easily top 3 in the buisness. I'd feel okay saying top 2. HBK ( best ever imo) then Hart.

I think it's a little fair to judge wwe on daniel bryan when comparing to tna. WWE has him, and TNA does not. Roster quality is a big reason why WWE>TNA any day of the week. It's wwe's beneifit to have the shield/daniel bryan. They are more likely to have better matches and that's something to point out while comparing to tna. TNA might put on more exciting wrestling but from what i've seen the past month and half it's not that stark of a difference. Just what i've noticed, and I know others have opinions that are different from mine. Just throwing mine into the mix. :obama:

I wish you chose to watch TNA before this last month lol. It's been pretty poor for a while now. Don't agree about the roster thing though; TNA's roster is good and could be so much better if they signed good independent talent instead of MMA hacks.

I guess I just hold WWE and its roster in high regard. Now, they don't always use them properly but the talent is some of the best i've ever seen. Cesaro, Dolph, Punk, Ziggler, Bryan, Rollins, Ambrose, Jericho, Sandow, Rhodes, Swagger, Henry.... All those guys can put on a great match at any given time. Even Cena has been known to surprise me.

No doubt WWE have a great roster, and with HHH signing independent talent it is only getting better, but TNA's is very good as well. Aries could probably rival D-Bry as a BITW contender, Bobby Roode is one of the best heels in wrestling, Bully Ray is the same as Roode in that department, Magnus has so much potential, Samoa Joe is simply incredible when he wants to be, Kurt Angle is still good, AJ Styles is freaking awesome, Bad Influence are sexually awesome - lots more too. Both rosters are good, but TNA utilise theirs better on free TV imo.

I guess TNA's roster loses by default by having Chavo Guerrero employed.

Yeah, they are pretty good now that I sit back here and think of it, but back to the original point about them putting on more exciting matches every week. Just from what i've seen it's been wwe>tna since i've started watching (Mind you I started watching tna because i was HATING on wwe for a solid month or two) I apperciate wwe more after watching TNA the past month and some change. WWE has exciting matches and has had more mark out moments for me. I guess it's unfair though truly because with this DB push of course i'm going to say WWE puts on more exciting matches. I'll say you're right, but included all of that content to explain myself first lol. Good talk.

I agree with you, lol. TNA has been poor recently, and I've realised that WWE's good moments are better than TNA's good moments. Lots will disagree with us, and lots will agree, it's one of those opinions that gets no majority. I would say the TNA I started watching in 2012 or so at its peak - with Roode as their champion - was getting regular 8/9/10 ratings from me, something I still can't say about WWE. Currently though, as Ryan and I both said yesterday on Skype, I much prefer watching RAW over TNA atm as I'm simply more excited for it.

I think Bryan is for about 1-2% better then punk..And only because he is a subbmision specialist,a ring technician and a flying goat..

I think there is in WWE. There is a massive difference between WWE wrestling and TNA wrestling. TNA do it right, and WWE don't. There is little effort on WWE's part to make free-TV matches exciting, but you can almost guarantee one great match a week with TNA. The PPV's however are fine; WWE do great on PPV match quality imo.
love you.

This thread is so much win. Gohan doesnt know who Stevie Wonder is, random hate on Hitman, and farooq's posts dont demand my attention as much as that pic of him looking like Ion in drag. Y2J > DB > CM.

I actually think WWE has a great match every week, but it could of course be better. Everytime DB is in the ring it's easily MOTY imo. I know i'm being a mark maybe, but seriously every week his match is the best (unless it's some kind of squash/interference number right off the jump.
He puts on great matches, yes. You, a huge mark? Nah. Crazy fan? maybe. Stalker? You bet. Guy who would watch a DB sex tape to see him naked even if it was Eve/Natty/AJ/Sable/Stephanie Mcmahon/That gross girl with the Cena belt from a few months back?

Everyone knows it's true.

Alright last reply. Slammiversary was fucking Gold compared to the shit we've seen on WWE. DB = Awesome. DZ = fucked title reign, ADR is dope, Big E is in, Wyatt family awesome, Jericho punk will be great. Also DB has only been booked well the last month, and honestly most of the shield marks dont give a fuck about what they say/do as long as they are on tv (im one)

The tag team division of TNA = more entertaining than WWE, honestly. THE KNOCKOUTS ppv match from Slammy is comparable to any PPV match in WWE this year IMO. (DZ cashed in on raw)

Do i have to mention how fucking bad WM was? I'm a huge TNA mark, and the shows have been slow/not as you may have hoped, but the matches themselves are all pretty damn good, especially as of late.

I'm going to go hide from the TNA marks now. Good day.

:henry:

(Wait, do I even count? Haha)

Either way, it's a matter of personal preference at this point. You've explained everything.
Personally my reasons for looking forward to Impact have been dwindled down to "It's 2 Hours".

Still, NXT >
