LOL at putting Kane before MVP, Matt Hardy and even the Undertaker.

Masters did look as a World Champion, hell, I liked the guy back on Raw when he was on the Elimination Chamber. He then got depushed in a team with Carlito and has gone downhill after that. Of course, he was getting pretty stale in the ring, he pissed Taker off, and got suspended two times in a row. That screams "FIRE ME"

i don't think he could have been a world champion but i saw him as a solid intercontinental championship contender.Plus the masterlock challenge segments were pretty entertaining.I think he would be a better signing for tna than test.

Chris Master's had the talent but 'roids did him in..and anyways, with so many upper card wrestler's hogging the limelight, master's almost had nothing to do just like Kane..if TNA takes him,it might help them get some ratings but eventually it will be a losing affair for them as well..master's never had a proper gimmick and never made a good enough statement for WWE to look at him seriously..i wont be missing him cause he was missing all the time from the spotlight!

Masters Talks To Orton; Speaks On Release, WWE, More
Date Added: November 16, 2007
Story By: Marc Middleton
The Shoot sent the following:

Chris Mordetzky (formerly Chris Masters) was a guest on the November 15th edition of The Shoot. He came on after JJ Dillon at about 30 mins into the show. He was welcomed by Hosts Gary Cantrell and Justin Bailey and they jumped right into his suspension turned to release. He confirmed being one of the 12 wrestlers suspended from the Signature Pharmacy scandal. Said that he spent the 30 days getting healthier and ready to come back to action. He said when he came back, he was tested again 3 other times in a matter of a week and a half. One out of the 3 he tested positive for a substance not allowed with the Wellness Policy, he said he was very surprised by this. He got the call from John Laurinatis saying that he was gone for 60 days. Chris brought up the CNN special and how alot of heat was being placed on Vince. He said he had a strange feeling he might get another call and be released. He stated that the very next day he got a call from Laurinatis stating that he was being released from WWE.

About 9 minutes into the interview, Justin asks Chris if he thinks Vince should take any responsibility at all for anything. Chris begins to reply that he doesn't think Vince should be completely on the hot seat meanwhile his cell phone begins to ring and to everyone's surprise its WWE Champion Randy Orton. "RANDY ORTON" he says in an enthusiastic voice. "Dude, i'm doing an interview for The Shoot right now" He then pauses to listen, followed by laughter. "Randy says hello and goddamn" They talk for a moment and Chris tells him he'll call him back. Before the interview resumes he mentions that this is the first time that he's spoken to Orton since his release. "I dont think you can put the complete blame on anybody. We all make our decisions, theres alot of stuff that i regret and i can look back on and i made some mistakes." He goes on to say that you really have to live the life they live to truly understand what they go through.

To hear all of this and more as he speaks on who he grew up liking, who he wanted to work with, Triple H's comments about his reduced size upon returning to WWE and a sleu of caller's questions please go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/theshoot to stream or download last night's 50 min interview with Chris Mordetzky. Give it a year, Masters will be back.

He is still young and has potential. It was his gimmick more than anyhting that forced the WWE to cut him. His gimmick was basically that of a steriod user for christ sakes.

He is still toeing the company line, is sticking up for Vince, and obviously has the support of one of the WWE's biggest stars. They will repackage him in a year with a new gimmick.

We have not seen the last of the Masterpiece on WWE TV.

Meh...
I gave Masters more credit than he deserved during his run.
He really needs to go back to wrestling school and leave the "foreign substances" alone.
He really was a new Lex Luger wasn't he? He let drugs screw up his career, too.
Sorry, Chris, but you've got to get your life right or you'll lose more than your job!

masters is a crap wrestler

Your a "Crap" member but shit happens!

As for Masters, this kinda takes away from SmackDown's Mid-Card division, i was hoping he could get a little boost from switching shows & go back to the little run he had in 05. As CM5 said, i wouldn't be surprised to see him being looked at again by WWE & make a return in the next year or two. Afterall, WWE seemed to always be high on the guy, but he wouldn't get a long-term solid push due to his well documented banned substance abuse.
