Former WWE star Chris Jericho was recently interviewed by Duane Doogan of the Wrestling Voice radio show. Jericho had some controversial comments regarding WWE talent stealing his moves & ideas:

"There seems to be a lack of respect for the forefathers who came in and did it first and it's not just [CM] Punk, it's a whole litany of guys from Miz to Cody Rhodes to Mason Ryan to Sin Cara to Kelly Kelly, everybody is stealing moves, looks, ideas. Brian Pillman once told me if you want to make it in wrestling you have to do something that nobody has done before and nobody is doing that and they are coming off as second rate copies of Chris Jericho, and that's maybe why these guys aren't striking and I watch it and think, 'Seriously, again?'

"A couple of years ago you had 'Miz 4, John Cena 0', where did that come from? Conspiracy Theory, where did that come from? Best in the World, where did that come from? Wearing suits, talking slow, using big words, using certain moves, you know Miz used the word "troglodyte" a few weeks ago and I'm like seriously? If there ever was a word associated with Chris Jericho that would be it. These guys have to start thinking of their own stuff and some times I see some of them and I'm like oh come on. It's not like it's influenced. At least give credit where credit is due."

Just get the feeling like I said months ago that this is gonna be apart of his character when he comes back to the WWE.

I definitely think he must be trolling, because he seems to love working the internet. I for one am completely sick of hearing about what Chris Jericho has to say. The man loves being known as a wrestler when it benefits him and hates being known as one anytime else, yet still runs his mouth off. Shut up and tour with your band.

"Best In The World" is a generic line, and its not like he's the first to say it or any variant of it. I think he's just being nitpicky here.

I do, however, agree with his comments on The Miz. The only thing that Miz has in aesthetics that differs from Jericho is his mic delivery. This also isn't the first time he's commented on this.

When Jericho comes back, I expect him to do something fresh with his character. The guy knows that in order to stay relevant you have to change with the times. I look forward to watching Jericho again once he inevitably returns.

That Mason Ryan gif is genius.

On this topic though, it's clear Jericho is just setting up his eventual return to WWE. This guy works so hard on his character's it's scary. He flips everything. How do you go from Y2J to an arrogant, bitter angry man? Now he is flipping it again. He is a master of reinventing himself.

I agree with Chris Jericho. I've been seeing a lot of the Superstars doing some things that makes me think, "hey! They got the from Jericho I bet". And it happens often in the WWE I've notice. So Y2J needs to Save_Us from the posers!
