Not sure my faith in the American justice system is strong enough to go along with that. :lol

I mean, yeah that's another good point.

Sometimes people who aren't guilty of things go to jail, and someones ones who are don't. Honestly unless someone has 100% concrete proof, you'll never truly know.

I have more faith in the law than the court of public opinion.

I have more faith in the law than the court of public opinion.

To be fair, court mainly is just public opinion in away, just with less opinions depending on if it's a jury or a judge making the choice. Sometimes lack of evidence can help someone get off. Nothing truly would be perfect. Court might be just a litttttttle bit more believable for sure. As you get to hear the case, see what evidence is their, etc. But at the end of the day, even that can let you down sadly. :mjcry

Court has a very strict set of rules for what you can rule cases on, what evidence can be hear, etc.

The reason why lack of evidence let’s people get off is you’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilt.

The system is designed that if you have to decided between more guilty going free or more innocent people be jailed, you let the guilty go free.

Oh I know. I just was pointing out and agreeing with EC that no system is flawless. It would nice if their was, but sadly that won't ever be the case. They are some people out their who sadly think if someone is set free it means they didn't do it, and if they go to jail they did do it. Which in it self can also be a problem.
