hoping to get a house with a finished basement

just have a huge office down there

we are going to have the cat room have an enclosure built off it outside so the cats can go outside anytime they want and be safe

People hate going to Walmart with me.. 20 minutes in the movie section, 30 minutes in the toy section guaranteed.. They're like "I thought we came here to go grocery shopping?"

Actually the cats in the basement with a tunnel to the outside might not be a bad idea.

yeah could put a door in one of the glass block windows

Is it weird for a cat to not want to go outside at all?

or better yet, get an egress window put in and just have an area they can climb out of. Doubles as a safe escape if there is a fire.

it isn't unheard of but most cats want to go outside to some degree

others are more sheltered and things scare them too easily so they would rather stay indoors

I can leave my front door wide open and my cat will sit there and just stare at the outside.. she never steps out.

it is intimidating to her
