Kirk refused to ever give in no matter what, which is what I liked about him... as seen in the Best of Both Worlds, Picard was willing to accept defeat as a possibility

I don't like the idea of Rey and Kylo being stronger in a way.. I grew up on Luke Skywalker.. I really wished they would have done better by him
