----------------------------- (Gambino’s Ink, one week before Full Throttle) --------------------------------

It was a quiet afternoon at Gambino’s Ink tattoo parlor, and Jimmy Gambino, the owner, was bored out of his mind as he cleaned some supplies in the back storage room. Ever since he, Bull, and Ape had been released from the Wrestling Kings Federation, he had nothing to do really other than a few tats a day and even that got boring after a while. He sighs and goes back to cleaning up the back room, when the bell on the door rang, signifying that somebody has just entered the parlor. Whoever it was had decided to walk up to his desk and tap his buzzer to get his attention. They tapped it a few more times, irritating Jimmy as he quickly put up the cleaning materials.

Jimmy: Yeah yeah, hold on a sec! I’ll be right with ya! (Mutters under his breath) Fuckin’ impatient bastard! Can’t wait another five fuckin’ minutes for a goddamn needle in his arm!

Jimmy walked out of the backroom and up to his desk, but to his annoyance, no one was there in the parlor. He looked around, and still saw no one.

Jimmy: For cryin’ out loud, as if I don’t have enough shit to deal with without some asshole fucking around with me!

Jimmy storms over to the door and looks outside for whoever it was that had come in, muttering a few cusswords and death threats the entire time. He doesn’t see anyone, so he locks the door.

????: Hello Jimmy.

Jimmy nearly screams as he quickly turns around and comes face to face with Syn and Lila. Syn smirks, a hand resting on Lila’s waist as they both watch Jimmy regain his composure in dark amusement.

Jimmy: S-Syn!? Is that you?

Syn’s smirk deepens

Syn: Yes. It has been quite a while since you and I have talked, hasn’t it?

Jimmy: Yeah, it has been. But what are you doin’ here?

Syn’s smirk turns into a frown as he stares at Jimmy, who looks a bit confused at Syn and Lila’s presence. He and Syn had done dealings in the past, with Syn utilizing the “Services” of he and Bull Connor in his very bloody, violent feud with The Reaper. Not to mention that Jimmy was one of the first people to congratulate Syn on his title win and that left the door open for more “Dealings” between them if Syn ever felt the need.

Syn: Hmm. I thought that I told Ryan to relay to you that I would be making a visit to talk a little…business, with you.

Jimmy’s eyes widen in realization as he remembers his conversation with The Reaper less than a week ago, telling him to expect a visit from someone.

Jimmy: Ah, right. The big guy said someone would be coming through sometime soon. Didn’t think he meant you though.

He turns and places the “Closed” sign up in the window, before closing the blinds and turning back to Syn and Lila with a dark smile.

Jimmy: So (Jimmy claps his hands together), what can I do for ya Syn?

Syn lets go of Lila for a moment, allowing her to walk around the parlor and look at all of the tattoo designs, before turning back to Jimmy.

Syn: I’m sure that you have, uh, kept up with WKF since your unfortunate release, have you not?

Jimmy shook his head no

Jimmy: I haven’t been able to keep up with everything after Champions Showcase man. Al I know I that you face that Charlie White character at Full Throttle in a few days, and that the guy has some backup called “The Resistance”, or something like that. Why?

Syn gives a very dark, very evil smile, severely freaking out Jimmy (Who, to his credit, didn’t show it like he usually would)

Syn: Ah, so you watched the Showcase. Well, since you did, do you remember what happened right after the Charlie White/JC Epick match? (Jimmy thinks on it for a long moment, before shaking his head no) Weeeeeeeeeeeeeell, as he was celebrating his win, which cemented his spot as the Number One contender to my title, a young woman came out to congratulate him. Now, me being me, I was curious as to whom she was. So, I did a little digging, and found that she was Charlie’s girlfriend, Cindy. (Syn’s smile became even more evil) So, I decided to, uh, introduce myself to the young woman.

Jimmy looks at Syn for a moment, not entirely getting his meaning. Then his eyes widen in shock as he realizes what Syn has done. He always knew that Syn was a sick, twisted individual. Hell, everyone knew that after what Syn had done to Cory Allen and Renegade, as well as his actions towards Reaper when he dug up (What he and everyone else assumed to be) Reaper’s girlfriend, kissed her, and pretty much called him a murderer. But he didn’t think that Syn would ever resort to kidnapping. He shakes out of it and turns his attention back to Syn.

Jimmy: That’s pretty twisted man (Syn smiles, as if taking this as a complement), but what does that have to do with why you wanted to see me? I don’t think torture is my thing as much as it’s yours, champ.

That evil smile Syn had earlier had come back with a vengeance as Lila had come back over to them and Syn placed an arm around her.

Syn: Ah, that all be the brilliant idea of my dear wife (Syn bends down and kisses Lila on the forehead, causing her to giggle slightly). During a training session in preparation for her first match, she had reminded me just how much that Charles says he loves Cindy. And, as a veeeeeeeeery devoted husband, I was able to identify with that (Syn makes a disgusted face, but quickly changes it) feeling. So, we both decided to make something for young Charles to (Syn clicks his teeth with his tongue) put his mind at ease. To show him that Cindy is safe and sound in the care of me and my disciples. But before we did anything, we wanted to, uh, make sure that she was all touched up and looked presentable, and has a few added (Syn pauses) features that require a tattoo needle.

Syn pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket and hands it to Jimmy. Jimmy unfolds it and takes a look at it, letting out a low whistle as he admires it for a moment. He then turns to Syn with an impressed look.

Jimmy: You come up with this design all by yourself?

Syn smirks, and then brings Lila in closer to him.

Syn: Well, again, it was mostly Lila’s idea, I just did what any husband would do and, uh, brought that idea to life.

Jimmy: Well, it looks like your wife has a damn good eye for this kind of thing champ. The design is wicked as hell!

Lila gave an appreciative smile to Jimmy

Lila: Thank you. I wanted to give Cindy a very special gift for her to remember the time that she spent with The Disciples. I mean, we’ve grown so very close over the last few weeks (Lila’s smile turns sickeningly sweet, almost as sinister as Syn’s), and I feel as though we’ve become almost as close as sisters.

Syn nods as he starts to stroke Lila’s hair, who willingly leans into Syn’s touch. Jimmy, meanwhile, was again going over the design. They all were silent for a few moments, before Syn turned his attention back to Jimmy.

Syn: I understand that you charge for special designs –

Jimmy waves a hand, still looking at the design (And missing the frown Syn gave him for cutting him off in mid sentence)

Jimmy: Yeah. Usually, I’ll charge ya for it, but I won’t do that to ya champ. (Both Syn and Lila raise an eyebrow at this) This design is too fuckin’ sweet for me to do that to ya, and there’s no way in hell I’m passin’ up the chance to do somethin’ like this.

Syn gives a small smirk as he extends his hand to Jimmy, who shakes it.

Syn: So, we have a deal then?

Jimmy: Yeah. Just tell me when and where this is takin’ place and I’ll be there.

Syn gives a small smirk and motions for Lila to come so that they can leave, when she walks over to him and whispers something to him. Syn raises an eyebrow, before shrugging slightly and looking over at Jimmy.

Syn: Actually, there is one more piece of business that we need to talk about.

Jimmy gives Syn a questioning look for a moment, then looks over at Lila, who holds up two designs with a sweet (and somewhat sinister) smile.

Syn: Do you think you could, uh, do these for Lila?

Jimmy gives a smile and shrugs, before going to the back and getting his needles ready for Lila’s tattoos.

-------------------------- (4 days later: Chicago, Illinois) ---------------------------------------------

Jimmy drives around the Chicago area, looking for the address that Syn had given him after he had completed Lila’s tattoos. Syn had called him two days ago and told him that his and Lilac’s “Project” was nearly complete and that all that was needed was to give Cindy her “Gift”. So he made the drive to Chicago and was now looking all over for the place where all of this would be taking place. Finally, after about an hour of driving around, Jimmy had found it. It looked like the ideal place for someone like Syn to do something devious: It was an old building (Or at least looked old form the outside), very dark, and not a place that may people would stop to take a second glance at. Jimmy stared at it for a while longer, before exiting his car with his supplies and walked up to the door. He reached out and opened the door slowly, and peered inside, then enters. He looks around as he cautiously made his way through the long hallway, and came to a stop at the door right at the end of it.

Jimmy: Man, leave it to Syn to pick the creepiest place to do this in.

????: Yes, but I did it for a very good reason that will be reviled soon enough.

Jimmy shrieked in fright and quickly turned around to find Syn, leaning against the railing with a look of manic delight on his face as he strolled over to Jimmy and up to the door. He unlocks it, and opens the door, and Jimmy gasps in shock. There, lying on an operating table was Cindy, her eyes wide open as she stared at the ceiling. She looked to be in a very bad way: She was deathly pale, and looked like she was in a comatose state. She was half clothed, covered completely from the waist down but only wearing a bra at the waist up. Syn then walked into the room, causing Jimmy to snap out of his observations and follow him in.

Syn: As you can see, I’ve, uh, taken very good care of her over the last few weeks. While her being a bit off color might be due to the temperature, neither I nor my Disciples have laid a hand on her beautiful little head.

Syn starts stroking her hair softly, but it doesn’t gain a response from her. He turns to jimmy and gives him a curious look.

Syn: How long will it take you to do this?

Jimmy: About two, three hours at the most.

Syn: Ah, good then. By then, Kai will have returned and we finally start this project.

Syn calmly walks over to one of the two chairs in the room and sits down, staring at Jimmy and Cindy as he waits for Jimmy to start. Jimmy sighs, and then starts setting up his tools in order to give Cindy her “Gift” from the Disciples of Syn.

About 3 hours later, Jimmy had finished up the tattoos and left as Syn had looked them over, before nodding in approval. Suddenly, the door opened and Kai walked in. He leaned against the door frame and looked at Jimmy for a moment, then looked at Syn.

Kai: Epick has the camera ready. Its time.

Syn gives a dark smile, and then looks down at Cindy. She looked very fragile at the moment. He gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face, then leaned down close to her ear and began whispering.

Syn: It’s almost over, my dear. You’ll be reunited with your beloved soon enough. (Syn pauses for a moment) But before I can give you that, I have one tiny, little deed I need done for me at Full throttle.

Syn stands up and looks at his brother, before motioning for Kai to help up Cindy, and they all exit the room

------------------------------------------- (Video tape) -------------------------------------

The video statics for a moment, then clears and shows Syn is sitting in a chair, smiling darkly as he peers into the camera.

Syn: Hello Charles. You don’t, uh, mind me calling you Charles, do you? I mean, with everything you and I have been through over the last month, (Syn smirks) along with all that a certain someone has told me about you, I can’t help but feel I know you very well.

He leans forward a bit, the smile never leaving his face as he continues to stare into the camera.

Syn: Now, before you fly off the handle and, uh, decide to destroy this tape, I’d like to explain a few things. Namely, what compelled me to bring your dear, sweet, innocent (Syn pauses, then gives a small chuckle) well, formally innocent girlfriend into this little war of ours.

Syn shifts slightly in his seat, pulling the WKF World Heavyweight Title into his lap as he continues to speak.

Syn: You see, The Resistance wants to, in Xavier’s words, “Rid the WKF of the darkness”. You all planned to jumpstart your futile little goal with the hope that you would defeat me for my world title at Full Throttle. (Syn pauses as shifts a bit in the seat to get more comfortable) So, I decided to, uh, show you one very important little detail that I don’t think had managed to sink into your head at the time that you asked for a chance to earn a shot at MY title: (Syn leans in very close to the camera) I. don’t. Play. Fair. When I face an opponent, I take everything that makes them tick, such as their fears, their strengths, their morals, and I use them to my advantage. (Syn smiles sadistically) Something that you, Charles, should have been aware of when you brought dear, sweet Cindy along for the ride.

Syn giggles insanely for a moment, and then composes himself as he speaks again.

Syn: And before you start asking yourself what I’ve done with Cindy, I think I’ll put those lingering fears to bed. Because I haven’t harmed her, she’s right here. In this. Very. Room.

As Syn finished his sentence, the camera slowly shifted over to a side of the room, and shows Cindy (Who is now fully dressed) sitting in a corner of the room with her head down. She slowly raises her head up and looks blankly at the camera. There, in the middle of her forehead, was a tattoo. It was a fairly simple design, a circle with a triangle in it, and the word “SYN” spelled out on the triangle’s points. Syn smiles evilly as he walks over to Cindy and sits next to her, putting an arm over her shoulders as he looks back into the camera.

Syn: Do you like the gift that we gave her? It was all Lila’s idea that we should give Cindy something from the bottom of our hearts. Something personal and something (Syn pauses) permanent. So she decided to come up with a few tattoo designs, and gave them to her. The only visible one is this (Syn brushes a hand over the tattoo, and Cindy doesn’t react to it).

Syn: As you can plainly see Charles, other than a slight loss of color, Cindy is very much in good health...physically at least. Before I tell you of her mental state, I want you to look into her eyes. (The camera focuses on Cindy’s eyes)Do you see it? The blank, soulless, almost hallow stare that’s piercing you to the very core at this moment? It’s a look of hopelessness and defeat Charles. It is a look that she had fought against courageously with the thought that you would save her; that you would rescue her from my grasp. (Syn clicks his teeth with his tongue) But it never happened now, did it? She held out for you as long as she possibly could, withstanding much of my, uh, madness in the process. (Syn leans over slightly and rests his head on her shoulder)But eventually, I took whatever remaining hope that she had left. But before you, uh, automatically blame me for what has happened, keep this in mind: Xavier Donovan wanted to wage a war with me. So I just decided to do what any man in my position would do. I upped the ante.

Syn continues to lean on Cindy’s shoulder, giving a sick and twisted smile.

Syn: At Full Throttle, I’m going to going to give you the chance to get her back. How I’ll do that, you’ll have to wait until then to see. But one thing will be for certain: You may get her back physically Charles (Syn takes one of Cindy’s hands, showing D.O.S tattoos on each of her fingers) but I have taken her from you mind, body, and soul.

Syn started to giggle, the it turned into full blown laughter as the camera faded to black, the last image being Syn’s laughing and Cindy giving a trance-like stare right into the camera.

-Four days before Full Throttle-

The scene is set with a camera shot of a parking lot. There are a bunch of fancy, pricey looking cars. In the middle of the parking lot, parked on one of the aisles between parking spaces, is a junk looking white Toyota Camry. Leaning against it is Charlie White. He wears a black plain shirt with the sleeves cutoff. His jeans are raggedy and torn. His shoes look brand new, as they're very white Chuck Taylor converse. He has on aviators, and has on no do-rag like he normally does. His black hair is shown slicked back somewhat. The camera zooms in to see him on the phone. We can't understand what he's saying because of the distance away from him. Suddenly, he hangs up the phone. He looks around and gets in his Camry. He speeds off, peeling out and leaving skid marks in the lot. He speeds off and around a corner. The panning camera moves to follow him and sees him pulling up to a building across the street. He gets out of the car and goes into the building. The camera slowly but surely follows him. When we get inside, we can tell that is a butcher's shop.

Yeah, can I get a half pound of beef?

No problem, Charlie. Why are you cutting back on your order?

I guess I don't have to feed Cindy anymore...

Why's that? Did you two break up?

Nope. You been watching me in WKF?

The butcher gets a confused look.

WKF? What's that?

I coulda swore I told you. It's a professional wrestling federation. I've been in it for a couple of months now.

Oh, how's that going for you?

Charlie's face momentarily lights up.

Great. I'm undefeated. I'm the number one contender for the World Title this week at Full Throttle.

That's nice. What's all this got to do with you not feeding Cindy?

I was getting there. The Champion is a psychopath. He kidnapped her once he found out I'm the contender. He kidnapped her, and now she's nowhere to be found, except in my matches when they bring her out to distract me. I have no clue how I'm going to get her back. All I know is I want her back.

That's rough. Here's your order. Good luck.

Thanks.

Charlie gets in the car he had left parked outside. He drives off into a now setting sunlight.

-Two days before Full Throttle-

We again see Charlie when he is in the confessional of a local Boston church. He is speaking to the Pastor through the proverbial sin window.

Charlie, what brings you here today? For what I've known, you've been a very religiously healthy and sinless person.

That is true, but on this occasion, I've got quite the "Syn" I need to speak about.

The Pastor gives a secretive look of concern.

What may be the cause of the change in voice as you said Sin, might I ask.

You see, Father, you and I, we aren't talking about the same Syn. You seem to think that I've been referring to a wrong doing, when in all reality, i'm referring to the sinful beast NAMED Syn.

The Pastor again get's a concerned look, this time one that is much, much deeper.

I know you helped them. You're the person that knows me best besides her.

I-I don't know what you're t-talking about...

The stutters. Father Jon, you were involved with The Disciples of Syn. You helped lead them to my home, my well being, and most importantly, my girlfriend.

You have no proof!

Charlie sits back and grins.

I may not, but I know somebody who does.

Suddenly, Chris Kline runs into the Pastor's side of the confessional and kick him in the head, sending him to the ground. He lies there, holding his head. Kline opens the sliding window, and leans through it to see Pastor Jon on the ground. He looks at Kline, and back at Jon.

Chris was there that night. The night that you met Kai in that alleyway.

--------------------FLASHBACK--------------------

You see, Kline was sitting in his car. He had just come to visit me to talk about the Resistance.

Flashback video shows Kline sitting in his car, while a mysterious car pulls up to the waiting Kai.

With no clue who else would be in Boston from the Disciples, he decided to sit and watch.

I noticed it was you, pastor, when I saw your clothing. You still had on your garb from the church. What would make you think you could leave the church with it and not be recognized?

So Kline took mental images, and described you to me. He told me everything about the way you acted, your clothes, your fidgetiness, and your car. I knew it was you, and so I came here today. I came here today to tell you that it is your fault I have no Cindy. It's your fault that I've been upset, smoking more. You did this to me you bastard!

Charlie's aggressive attitude leaves his face beaming red. He takes a minute to calm down, and sits back in the chair.

Let's go.

After Kline's proposition to go, they walk out the door and leave the church...

-Day of Full Throttle-

Charlie is seen sitting in a room, most likely the locker room. He is writing on a notepad. We hear him go over the words he's writing and learn it's a rap.

Look at that, is it the new asshole I tore?
Dumb fucks, always wanting to go back to war.
It's useless fighting, just blood and gore.
I seen it since I was 4, why do we need more?

Suddenly, he is interrupted when a crew man comes into the room.

Uh, Charlie. This was sitting on a table backstage. It had a note, but all it said was "For Charlie". I figured you'd want to see it.

Toss it here.

The man tosses the tape Charlie's way, and awkwardly exits the locker room. Charlie decides, what better time than now to watch the tape. After few minutes of watching the tape, he gets fuming red. He watches the video through to the end, and, as it fades into static, he kicks over the tv stand, shattering the screen. He takes a minute to cool down, and stares off into the camera.

Syn. You son of a bitch, Syn. First you take my girlfriend, then you taunt me with her, now you deface her beautiful skin? You really do have issues, don't you? From what I remember, you hang people, you push them off the titantron, you have no issues fighting with other freaks in piles of glass and blood. But for you to stoop so low as to leave such a permanent mark on something that isn't even fucking yours? What IS wrong with you? I would say you should see a psychiatrist of therapist, but I'm sure you'd tattoo their loved ones and hand them as well. I want to make this perfectly clear. You bring that world title of yours to the match. And you and I both know damn well that Cindy will be on the line too. When that cage gets lowered, and she gets release, it will because I won. I will beat you, I will win my girlfriend back, and I will damn sure walk away from Full Throttle the champion. You, though, I have different plans for. You get to be the one to meet my full rage. You get to be the one who meets what I'm truly capable of. Do you remember the last time I lost, Syn? I haven't. The closest I got is watching my teammate get beat. You've lost, Syn. You were a loser once upon a time. I have one rule in life. Once a loser, always a loser. I've never been a loser. When I wanted to be a rapper, I showed I could spit, and I made it. Real Talk signed me, and I made it big. I wanted to be a wrestler, so I learned how. I came into WKF and beat every challenge set before me. Now, sitting here, getting ready for Full Throttle, I'm the number one contender. I am the top guy that isn't you. But don't worry, buddy. Soon enough, you'll be the top guy that isn't me. You'll be the one on the outside looking in. I'll be on my pedestal, and I've got three supports holding my pedestal up. Roger Ruiz, Chris Kline, and Donovan. They support me, and once I step onto that pedestal, I will reign supreme and I will help bring light to the darkness that consumes WKF. Syn, tonight is the dawn of a new era. Tonight, is the reign of the Resistance.

Charlie continues to stare off into the camera as it fades to black...
