Not winning: Charlie Sheen's $100 million lawsuit against Warner Brothers will not go to trial. The suit will instead be settled by arbitration. The "Two and a Half Men" star initiated legal action after he was fired from the show.

$55,000 off the top of any of his paychecks every month for child support.

Charlie Sheen, an actor whose off-screen antics have proved to be even more entertaining than his onscreen roles, has proved that one can both lose and win when it comes to playing the Hollywood game.
The producers of "Two and a Half Men," a show that Sheen was unceremoniously fired from several months ago, have hit upon a story line that will explain why Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, is no longer going to be with us.
He is going to die messily. According to TMZ, "Two and a Half Men" show runner Chuck Lorre, with whom Sheen has publicly feuded, hit upon the death story in order to make sure that Sheen never returns to the show. Scenarios are being kicked around, but one that seems promising will have Charlie Harper drive his car over a cliff. Apparently Sheen has accomplished this feat twice, both times surviving.
No doubt Lorre, who has been the object of vicious attacks by Sheen, will derive some satisfaction with this bit of vicarious revenge.
In the meantime, Sheen need not worry about the loss of income from getting the royal order of the boot from "Two and a Half Men" entails. According to Radar Online, Sheen has signed a deal with Lionsgate Productions to develop and star in a new sitcom. The character will be similar to the one he played on "Two and a Half Men," only "racier." Already a number of cable networks, including TBS, are bidding for the rights to air the show.
The deal Sheen negotiated is interesting. He will make less than the $2 million per episode he made on "Two and a Half Men." However, Sheen has a much more generous back end deal that in the long run would be more lucrative.
This means that Lionsgate and whichever network chooses to air the show would not be out as much money if the show flops or Sheen has one of his famous real life episodes involving drugs and porn stars. The deal provides at least a little incentive for Sheen to behave. If he can manage it, perhaps he will wind up "winning" after all.

Charlie Sheen has revealed that he took his preparations for his role in 1989's "Major League" to the extreme.
"Let's just say that I was enhancing my performance a little bit. It was the only time I ever did steroids," the actor told Sports Illustrated in an interview featured in the new "Where Are They Now?" issue.

"I did them for like six or eight weeks," he continued. "You can print this... my fastball went from 79 to like 85."
The former "Two and a Half Men" star also told the mag that character Ricky Vaughn's signature hairstyle combined with his steroid use was a dangerous combination.

"I didn't like the haircut because it generated so many comments in bars. I've got enough of that already. Add that to the mix and it's a recipe for a fistfight," he continued.
The notorious lady-lover said the movie's physical demands cut into the amount of female visitors he had on set.
"It wasn't as bad as on 'Young Guns' [a year earlier]. We made that one in Santa Fe, and you would fly into Albuquerque and drive to Santa Fe on this two-lane highway. Literally, the girls that were leaving would pass the ones coming in," he recalled. "'Major League' was so physically demanding that you didn't have a lot of time for that. You're lying in bed and everything [hurts], and you're thinking, I have to pitch tomorrow?! But there were certain days that we'd look at the schedule for the next day and be like, 'Gentlemen, tonight we ride.'"

"We had this party at my place a few months ago to watch 'Major League.' It was awesome. The beard was there -- Brian Wilson, from the [San Francisco] Giants. We had [former pro baseball players] Eddie Murray and Kenny Lofton. And I got David Ward to introduce the film. Colin Farrell showed up. And when my big strikeout at the end comes on, the place goes nuts like we've never even seen the movie before," he told the mag. "I'm in between my two girlfriends, and I look over and there's Colin Farrell giving me a thumbs-up. I reach behind me for a fist bump from Brian Wilson, who goes, 'Winning!' I'm telling you, [director] David Ward created a baseball classic, and baseball is all that matters in the world.

LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Looks like Charlie Sheen is done playing nice with his former bosses.
The ousted "Two and a Half Men" star, who's preparing for his small-screen adaptation of the Jack Nicholson film "Anger Management," took a few shots at the show while out in Los Angeles on Thursday, saying he's "very disappointed" in the direction "Two and a Half Men" has taken since his ouster, TMZ reports.
Asked about the ratings slide that the show has taken since its eye-popping season premiere numbers, Sheen offered, "People aren't stupid, you know? Not all of them."
Sheen was a critical about his replacement, Ashton Kutcher, who plays brokenhearted Internet millionaire Walden Schmidt on the show.
"He's doing the best he can," Sheen offered. "I don't think the role is cursed, but I'm extremely disappointed with how they're handling what I left behind."
After a very public, very ugly war of words with "Two and a Half Men" executive producer Chuck Lorre, Sheen struck a conciliatory tone at this year's Emmys, taking the stage and wishing his former cohorts "nothing but the best" with the show revamp.
"From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together, and I know you will continue to make great television," Sheen said.
Two weeks later, in late September, Sheen settled his lawsuit with Lorre and Warner Bros. Television. As TheWrap reported at the time, Sheen received $25 million in the deal, though that primarily consists of back-end payments from episodes he'd already filmed. (Sheen had been seeking $100 million in the suit.)
The good news for CBS? Charlie's a big fan of its comedy "Rules of Engagement." The series enjoyed robust ratings for its season premiere Thursday, and apparently Sheen was among the viewers.
"Anyone catch the premier of "Rules of Engagement" last night?" Sheen tweeted Friday. "Glad it's back! Hat's off to buddy Tom Hertz, cast and crew. Great show CBS!!"
