Changes that should be made for the raw anniversary!

here are some ideas for on what should be done for the raw anniversary besides the show going too 3 hours!

change the raw logo
change the raw 'theme' music for the show
give the raw hd areana a makeover
add the raw logo in the centre of the ring like they did in the wcw shows
fire john laurinates and put teddy long back in charge




do you think these changes will be made too raw for the anniversary coming up in july?

A logo and theme music change isn't too farfetched, but your other suggestions are. HD arena isn't going anywhere for a while, logo in the ring makes no difference, I wouldn't mind it, but don't care if it happens or not. Ace is staying in charge, Mr. "Tag match playa" won't be in charge of anything for a while.

I would love a new song.
I wouldn't care about a new logo nothing really wrong with the current one (what would you do with it?)
HD Arena had it's own seperate thread awhile back its not going to change all at once imo.
Logo in the ring if it's a bright red like that seems it would be a distraction. I think people would also bring up WCW and why would WWE want that?
The last really has little to do with the Raw anniversary or any of the other ideas. It'll happen dunno why you think that's when it'd need to but it will happen.

The best potential change which could happen here or when/if The Rock gets the WWE Title is a title change. Just seems like that would be the night to change something like that add a new belt drop belts change belts etc.

Can they change the design of the WWE belt? That has to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen. When I returned to watching, I just knew that the WHC had to be the top belt because it actually looked like something someone would want to wear. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the art school project was the most coveted.

The WWE Title is overdue for a change in design, but nothing else seems necessary.

The 1000th episode isn't an official Raw Anniversary. The show started in January 1993 and usually they have Anniversary shows in October for the Fall season...

And I also see nothing that improves wrestling in that what you want changed so I could care less.

I'm thinking maybe a new theme song but that's a maybe because last December they hired Nickelback to perform at the Tribute to the Troops and they sung the RAW theme. Usually when they change the theme, it isn't that recent that the band performs the song live. The change I would love to see but is NEVER going to happen is the return of JR. At WM, he called Taker/HHH and then Punk/Jericho came on next without him and it just showed that absolutely NO ONE can hold a candle to that man in the commentary booth. He's irreplaceable. Vince and Co. have been trying to do it for years with shoving Michael Cole down our throats but he isn't 1/10 the commentator that JR is. I think JR is content with staying at home and working on the occasional project for WWE Classics but the excitement for the classics over the years has had 1 common factor: JR on commentary and he always makes a match feel so much more important than it may be. Hell, he could call a Bob Holly/Chuck Palumbo match and make it seem like a WM classic.

A revamp of the logo may be nice. And yeah, I'm bored of Nickelback now. They wont change the raw arena because its the same as every other show, just different colour, more cost effective only having one style barring PPV's. TBH I prefer the plain canvas. Raw is plastered on the arena stuff, on the aprons, it's not needed. And well, Teddy's never been in charge of Raw full time. And im warming to big johnny if im honest. The title is neither here nor there whether that changes for me. Dont love it, don't hate it. I'd love Shindown - Diamond Eyes to be the Raw theme, mental good song that.

There really are no options. I honestly don't think Vince will ever find anyone who can replace or even live up to the standard Jim Ross set on the commentary booth. As I stated, the way he calls matches is like no one else before him or since. Only person that comes close is Joey Styles and he's stuck in Stamford working on the website.

there are millions of people who are dying to try.nobody can replace jr.why try.just bring in a new fresh voice.someone in there 20s with passion in their voice.there are lots of great commentators wwe just isnt looking.
